This year saw lots of celebrity weddings, some long overdue (about time too, Liam Gallagher) and some a total surprise (Peaches Geldof, you outdid yourself with this one). Childhood sweethearts Coleen and Wayne Rooney had a lavish ceremony abroad, while Sean Bean made Georgina his fourth wife on UK soil. Matt Willis and Emma Griffiths tied the knot after Matt took a trip to rehab, while Peter Phillips was surrounded by his royal relations at his wedding with Autum Kelly.

Jump For Joy: Sugababes And The Sex Pistols At IoW Festival
A stellar lineup including The Sex Pistols, The Police, Sugababes, Scouting For Girls, The Enemy, Iggy Pop and so many more entertained an audience of celebs and regular folk at the Isle Of Wight Festival this weekend. Those who travelled over to listen to some music included Gavin And Stacey's Mathew Horne who looked super-cool in his Ray Bans, Nicole Appleton and Melanie Blatt, and Emma Griffiths.
Her man Matt Willis was supposed to be presenting coverage for ITV, but is in rehab at the moment – which probably accounts for her moment of sadness among the smiles.
Liam and His Bob Criticise Gordon's Lovely Locks
Liam Gallagher ran a few errands around London yesterday while continuing to rock the bob that made a lot of you giggle on its debut last month. He was without his Kung Fu kicking companion Gene but Liam kicked off all on his own when his wife Nicole Appleton cooked on Gordon Ramsay's F Word. Liam had a dig at Gordon's skills, saying "Your cooking is bobbins" (bobbins o’ cotton meaning rotten in rhyming slang).

There must be something in the water in Celeb Land — last week we saw the usually moody Kate Moss crack a lovely smile at the cameras, and this week notorious pap-hater Liam Gallagher gave the photographers a big grin as he left The Hill Pub in London. He'd been celebrating Mel Blatt's birthday (number 33 — same as Fergie) with his new wife Nicole Appleton and something must have put him in a great mood. Maybe he's just super-excited about Oasis' gig in Toronto later this year.

Liam Gallagher and Nicole Appleton got married on Valentine's Day in a secret ceremony at London's Westminster Register Office. Maybe Liam's got a loyalty card there, as he married Patsy Kensit at the same venue back in 1997. Although I find that a little weird, I do have to say good on Nicole for finally getting the notorious bad boy down the aisle, since she's been speaking about her desire to get married for a while now.

Reality TV stars came out en masse last night for OK Magazine's Christmas Party at The Living Room in London. Big Brother provided the largest number of attendees, including this year's lovebirds Rex and Nicole plus Mario and Lisa, who wore a rather revealing top. They were joined by Mikey, Now magazine's sexy santa Stuart, and Dale, who's continuing to do his bit for reality show relations by dating Shipwrecked's Naomi Millbank-Smith.
