Stars From J Lo to Will Smith Honor MJ at This Is It LA Premiere
Michael Jackson's final masterpiece, This Is It hit theaters at midnight last night, with a star-studded LA premiere just a few hours earlier to celebrate. MJ's brothers Jermaine, Tito, Marlon and Randy posed together to support the project while stars of stage and screen came together to honor the King of Pop. Will Smith doesn't do a ton of red carpets these days, but couldn't miss this one and NPH was dapper in black.
The A-List Help Simon Cowell Celebrate His 50th in Style
Simon Cowell turns 50 on Wednesday, so he gathered his A-list pals at Wrotham Park mansion on Saturday for a lavish party. His fellow X Factor judges Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue and Louis Walsh plus presenters Holly Willoughby and Dermot O'Leary joined the celebrations, with Dannii and Louis both buying him a mirror. Simon's Britain's Got Talent colleagues Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan were also spotted leaving the party.
Victoria Heads to Boston While Keeping the Judging Seat Warm
Victoria Beckham joined Ryan Seacrest and the rest of the American Idol judges in Boston yesterday for their latest round of auditions. She was also with the gang last week in Denver, though her repeat appearances don't mean she's angling to permanently take over for Paula Abdul. Victoria's rep says she's only a temporary replacement, since Posh is focusing more on her designing career these days.
Victoria Beckham Will Guest Judge On American Idol!
It's been confirmed that Victoria Beckham will be a guest judge on the next series of American Idol, replacing departing judge Paula Abdul temporarily.
It will be a one off appearance on the show, which has approximately 26 million viewers watching avidly each episode.
Paula Abdul announced that she had left the show on her Twitter page, saying that,"With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to return."

For many stars, Elton John's annual charitable Oscar party was the destination last night, and for others it was a stop along the way. Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, and Chace Crawford were just a handful of the beautiful people who stepped out to attend his 17th Oscar bash, which raised $4 million for AIDS by the end of the night. Kate Beckinsale had her husband Len as her date, while Ben Stiller ditched his Joaquin beard to chat up Ryan Seacrest.
Couples Galore Join Elton on Oscars Night
Lots of stars from our side of the pond joined their fellow British celebrity Elton John for his 17th Annual AIDS Foundation Oscars Party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood last night. It was certainly an evening for couples, with Jordan and Peter Andre rubbing shoulders with Gordon and Tana Ramsay, who are putting their recent troubles behind them. American and British unions were also represented by Claire Danes and her fiance Hugh Dancy plus Mamma Mia costars and couple Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper.

The stars brought out the glamour last night for the 40th NAACP Image Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in LA: vote on all the red carpet looks here. Seal sang after Cosmo cover girl and Female Artist winner Beyonce opened the show, while Jennifer Hudson performed for President's Award winner Muhammad Ali and was named New Artist, saying: "This is where we come from. If you're suffering from X Factor withdrawal symptoms then fear not, as American Idol returns to our screens today to fill the talent show shaped void in our TV schedules. The eighth season, which premieres on ITV2 at 8pm tonight, has a few changes, and Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul will be joined by a fourth judge: songwriter Kara DioGuardi.
