The big elephant in the room while watching Post Grad is that the plot seems like it's totally zeitgeist-y, but it's actually not. A young woman (Alexis Bledel) can't seem to get a job despite her qualifications and languishes in unemployment. Unemployment!

Though parts of this trailer for Post Grad are predictable and a little cheesy, overall it's way more endearing and adorable than I had anticipated. Alexis Bledel plays Ryden Malby in this sentimental comedy that explores the scary/exciting challenges of graduating college and not having everything fall right into place. She lives with her parents, hangs out with her longtime guy friend Adam (Zach Gilford), and vies for the same jobs as countless other early 20-something hopefuls — and repeatedly faces rejection, causing her to wonder what her future will actually look like.

Jennifer Lopez and Camilla Belle did their best West Side Story imitations in a new photo shoot for Vanity Fair. Jennifer revealed she watched the original movie 37 times growing up and always wanted to be Anita, who she portrays in the pictures. Rodrigo Santoro is Anita's boyfriend, Bernardo, and Ben Barnes is Tony opposite Camilla's Maria.

The Cannes Film Festival is known for its out and out glamour, despite the odd saboteur, and last night's Chopard party showcased some stunning dresses and ladies who dripped in diamonds! Dita Von Teese showed off some beautifully individual jewellery including a choker and diamonds, and Eva Herzigova wore some enormous expensive earrings. My best dressed of the night was Gwyneth Paltrow who looked beautiful in a one-shouldered dress, gladiator-style heels and diamond hoops.

While Jenny McCarthy was off to the White House over the weekend, Jim Carrey was down in Miami getting some sun on the set of his new movie I Love You Phillip Morris. In the film which is based on a true story, Jim is a con artist who tries to escape from prison multiple times after falling in love with his former cell mate, played by Ewan McGregor. Sounds a little heavy, but apparently it's a dark comedy — so hopefully Jim will get to show off that funny side we love so much.

Last week it was Locke, and this week, "Lost" turned our attention to Nikki and Paulo. Though I cannot begin to express my frustration at the complete disregard for last week's nuances, I have to admit that I found this episode to be intriguing, even if it didn't answer nearly as many question as it raised. Then again, that does seem to be trademark of "Lost" these days.

If you're a big Sin City fan you are most likely anxiously awaiting this weekend's half CGI/half live action epic, 300. Like Sin City, the film is based on a Frank Miller graphic novel, and looks both sleek and quite gory. With hot guys Gerard Butler, the film's star and a young Clive Owen look alike, Djimon and Aaron Eckart in the house, it's no wonder why Rosario Dawson came out for last night's LA premiere!

Madonna showed up to the annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS benefit in Cannes tonight with Guy Ritchie on her arm, but once inside it was up to her and Sharon Stone to raise money and awareness as the hosts. The bigger fashion plates of the night were the starlets like flapper Diane and Natalie with her ruffles, but how do you feel about all of the red carpet looks? Worst dressed goes to Sharon in her all leopard ensemble, but we really can't be too picky about costume choices since the celebrities got dressed up for such a good cause.

Some of our favorite rarely-seen famous faces were out at Sundance Film Festival yesterday. Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt premiered their anticipated – and completely precious looking — romantic comedy 500 Days of Summer. Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor continued to hit up the parties in support of I Love You Phillip Morris.
