SJP Expresses Love For Diapers and Kim Cattrall in Elle

Sarah Jessica Parker looks sexy and playful for December's Elle. At the moment she's off in Morocco filming Sex and the City 2 and was also just named to President Obama's Committee on the Arts and Humanities. While she keeps her plate full of philanthropic and career projects, in the magazine, she's all about her role as a mom, talking about her new twin girls and what she loves about the experience. Here are highlights:

On whether she doesn't like Kim Cattrall: "I don’t think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim. I adore her. I wouldn’t have done the movie without her. Didn’t and wouldn’t."
On her decision to use a surrogate: "I knew there would be lots of opinions about, 'Well, why didn’t you adopt? Why didn’t you do this? Why didn’t you do that?' and the truth of the matter is, it wasn’t one or the other for us. We had explored, and continue to explore all options, and this one just happened first. This isn’t the period at the end of the sentence."
On being a mom: "I love the smell of diapers; I even like when they’re wet and you smell them all warm like a baked good. I love the smell of Balmex. Love it."

Carrie and Miranda Get Moroccan Makeovers

Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon popped up in Marrakesh this morning to film Sex and the City 2. After a few months of work in NYC, it looks like the ladies finally traveled abroad as rumored. James Wilkie went along to keep his mom company on the trip, though no signs yet of either Kim Cattrall or Kristin Davis. Miranda and SJP sported long skirts in keeping with Morocco's modest style of dress, but they were still able to show off their signature looks.

Miley's the Latest Celebrity to Sparkle in the City With the Ladies

Friday night was a late one on the NYC set of Sex and the City 2. Sarah Jessica Parker, Chris Noth and Mario Cantone were trying to stay warm while filming scenes at one of Smith Jerrod's movie premieres. Jason Lewis looked hot as ever on the red carpet - not unlike his recent steamy bedding ads. Kim Cattrall's Samantha apparently wanted to show up in something hot and young, ending up in the same outfit as Miley Cyrus. The teenage queen is the latest in a long line of SATC celebrity cameos, which you guys think might be detracting from the main characters' storylines.

Sarah Jessica Parker and the gang have been working on Sex and the City 2 for a few months now, and the set seems like it's a busy place. Carrie and her three pals have entertained their usual share of gentlemen, but the sequel is set to include all sorts of celebrity cameos from Penelope Cruz to Miley Cyrus and now even Tim Gunn. It's a major project that stars probably want to be a part of, but at the same time, it's nice when the focus is on the four main ladies. So, tell us - do you like all these SATC 2 cameos?

Miley Cyrus and Samantha Play Style Snap on SATC2 Set!

Miley Cyrus filmed her Sex and the City 2 cameo last night in New York city, where a number of the established cast were also ready to shoot. Sarah Jessica Parker was looking groomed under her big coat to ward off the chill, while Mario Cantone, Willie Garson, Chris Noth and gorgeous Jason Lewis ensured that the men were outnumbering the ladies for once! Kim Cattrall was also on set, and judging by the boots it looks like Samantha and Miley may be pulling a Pink and Shakira at the VMAs with their matching outfits! I can't wait to see how it plays out on the big screen!

SJP Channels Carrie B. For Her New Fragrance

Can't get enough SATC? You'll like this news, then. Sarah Jessica Parker is launching a new scent, called SJP NYC, in conjunction with the release of Sex and the City 2 next May. And as you might expect given the launch date, SJP says this one is more about her SATC character then it is about her. “A large part of the inspiration was what I now understand to be people’s impressions of seeing Carrie Bradshaw walk down the street," she told WWD."We wanted to create a party in a bottle." (I always thought Carrie looked more harried and anxious in the opening than ready to party, but maybe that's just me.)

For those of you interested in hitting the club with this one, the scent is a fruity floral, and the packaging (and low price points-15 ml is $25) makes it seem like it's designed to skew younger. SJP NYC has top notes of Italian mandarin, white osmanthus and strawberries, a big, floral middle with gardenia, honeysuckle, mimosa and rose, and a drydown with sandalwood, vanilla, rum, and musk. What do you think? Will this one be a as lovely and coveted as her other two scents, or do the notes suggest Carrie's not nearly as talented a perfumer as SJP?

SJP, Chris and Kim Carry on Filming Sex and the City 2!

Chris Noth, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall were all spotted on the Sex and the City 2 set yesterday. SJP and Kim kept their feet toasty in their Ugg boots, with Kim wearing a warm Patricia Field jacket over her sparkly silver dress. Patricia was also on set yesterday, keeping an eye on how the actors were looking, as was newly engaged Chris Noth - looking smart in his suit as Carrie's hubby Mr Big. I still can't wait to catch up with the ladies when the film comes out and to find out the truth behind Jason Lewis being back on set and Samantha wearing a wedding dress!

Jason Lewis Makes a Triumphant Return to Sex and the City!

Jason Lewis told us there was "a good chance" he'd be back in Sex and the City 2 - and apparently it's true, as he joined costars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall on set in NYC this morning! There were no signs of Kim in a wedding dress this time around, but it would be a thrill if famously single Samatha and Smith Jerrod tied the knot after all their ups and downs. We won't get to know the full plot until the movie hits screens next Spring, though it's fun now to speculate about what will happen for all the ladies in the next installment.

SJP Slips Back Into Her Carrie Persona With Ease

Sarah Jessica Parker was all decked out in ripped jeans and a headband, while also carrying a SATC sweatshirt on the set of Sex and the City 2 in Brooklyn yesterday. Over the weekend she took the twins out for a walk through Manhattan but come Monday it was back to work for Miss Carrie Bradshaw. The actress and her three costars are keeping us guessing with the plotlines although we already have a hint at some of the celebrity cameos we will see when the sequel hits the big screen.
