Before seeing Kung Fu Panda, I guessed the plot went something like this: A big dopey Jack Black-voiced panda bear dreams of becoming a kung fu fighter but has to reach deep within himself to find the courage to do so. In the process, the naysayers that surround said panda will learn a little something about judging a book by its cover. And it turns out, this is basically the case.

Well, I started my week off right by watching the extremely hilarious trailer for Superbad, a summer comedy starring Michael Cera — that's George Michael Bluth, for all you "Arrested Development" fans. The quirky comedy comes out August 17 and looks to be what movies like Orange County were trying to be, but much funnier. I'm a sucker for pretty much anything Cera does or says, but even for those who don't fall down laughing by just looking at him, the movie looks really promising.

Funny People, a new film starring Adam Sandler, Eric Bana, Jonah Hill and Seth Rogan is about to hit theatres in the UK on 28th August. It's made quite the splash in America already with it's hysterical cast and slapstick plot. For those of you who don't already know who Leslie Mann is (think Knocked Up, The 40 Year Old Virgin and Big Daddy) she's side-splittlingly funny, charming and to boot, she has perfectly taught skin.

Men of all ages wore basic black and white last night at the Oscars. The biggest decision was bowtie or long tie, unless we're talking about Mickey Rourke who stood out in his bright white suit, proving once again he is doing things his way. Brad added more facial hair, upgrading his mustache to full-on goatee.

Straight from the on-stage high to the press room with their newest hand weight, all the winners were happy to pose with their Oscars last night. All the acting winners — Javier, Daniel, Marion and Tilda – were shining as bright as their awards while the Coen brothers each walked off with an armload. The presenters also stopped to pose for the cameras without statues, but still glamorous nonetheless.

All the acting winners at the Oscars gave stellar performances in the press room, smiling wide with their new gold arm candy. Actors from our side of the pond gave a cool-Britannia performance on stage, with Helen Mirren mock-knighting Daniel Day-Lewis when she presented him with his award for Best Actor before the pair posed together in the press room along with the other happy winners and presenters. We were excited to see Tilda Swinton also flying the flag for us, with her Best Supporting Actress award.

The Vanity Fair annual Hollywood Issue photo shoot is especially cool this year as a whole slew of famous actors posed to recreate classic shots from Alfred Hitchcock movies. Some of my personal favorites include Seth Rogan doing North by Northwest Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. in To Catch A Thief and the Scarlett Johansson/Javier Bardem duo doing Rear Window. Also, doesn't Renee Zellweger look a lot like Meryl Streep posing in Vertigo?
