Christian and Sibi Bale posed together in black at last night's LA premiere of Terminator: Salvation. After his rant, Christian's been cautious about doing press for the movie, though most of you don't hold the incident against him. While he's never one to be lighthearted, he's even tentatively joking about the on-set blowup.

On the one hand, it's Christian Bale and it's a gritty, action-packed Terminator story. On the other hand, for some reason I'm not all that intrigued about the movie after watching this. What do you think of the trailer for Terminator Salvation?

What with The Dark Knight's European premiere and the rumours around his arrest, Christian Bale is all over the news at the moment.
With all this going on it's easy to forget his other big upcoming film, so here's a teaser trailer for Terminator Salvation, starring Christian as John Connor. He is expected to return to New Mexico to continue shooting the movie after completing The Dark Knight's promotional tour.

Though I was all prepared to check out the teaser trailer for the fourth Terminator movie later tonight (it was supposed to come online around 9:00 p.m. EST), it appears that the video is available online right now. And it's pretty spooky.

- According to The Guardian, Naomi Watts will play one of King Lear's daughters in the next film adaptation of Shakespeare's play. Gwyneth Paltrow and Keira Knightley will take on the roles of the other two daughters to Anthony Hopkins's King Lear.
- Matthew Fox is in talks to star in yet another one of Hollywood's comic book-turned-movies, Billy Smoke, about "an elite hit man who's nearly killed during a botched job and realizes that his only way to find redemption is to rid the world of all assassins."
- Hollywood Reporter writes that Helena Bonham Carter will have a "small but pivotal role" in the fourth Terminator movie.
- A follow-up to 300 is officially in the works, with Frank Miller currently writing the graphic novel on which it will be based. Though he's not committed yet, 300 director Zack Snyder is "definitely interested" to see what Miller comes up with.

- ABC's Life on Mars adaptation is looking pretty troubled already, according to the LA Times, though it's the network's only new drama for the Fall.
- The Hollywood Reporter announced that Bryce Dallas Howard will replace Charlotte Gainsbourg in the fourth Terminator installment.
- American Idol winner David Cook's recording deal is official, and he's still setting all kinds of iTunes records, USA Today reports.
- Variety reports that Family Guy will compete as a regular comedy at the Emmys — not just an animated one — for the first time.
- Katharine McPhee and Wes Bentley are set to star together in the indie psychological drama The Storyteller, reports ComingSoon.

Well, OK, we already had one reason: Christian Bale. But now that Common's joining the cast of the fourth Terminator installment, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins, it's pretty much guaranteed I'll check out this movie.
According to Variety, "Story centers on John Connor (Bale), now in his 30s, who leads what is left of the human race in a battle against the machines.
