Matt Has Luciana's Help With the Big Decisions

Matt Damon was back to work on The Adjustment Bureau yesterday filming at Yankee Stadium, which is enemy territory for the die-hard Red Sox fan. He's focusing on his current project, but another of his films, Invictus, hits the big screen next weekend. Matt recently stepped out to honor that film's director, Clint Eastwood, with an event at the Museum of the Moving Image. Matt admitted that his wife was a big factor in his decision to tackle the role of a South African rugby captain, saying, "I have come to judge good jobs and good directors by how my wife feels about them. . . and my wife loves Clint Eastwood."

Matt Damon Gets Adjusted to His NYC Schedule

Matt Damon was back in his long coat yesterday to keep working on The Adjustment Bureau in NYC. His costar Emily Blunt wasn't by his side, unlike other afternoons of filming, but Matt had a few members of the crew around for company and laughs. It was Jon Voight who appeared with him last night at the Children at Heart benefit gala, during Matt's most recent evening out after a long day on set. Matt and Emily Get Touched up While Adjusting

Matt Damon spent yesterday afternoon working on the NYC set of The Adjustment Bureau. The actor has been getting to know his costar Emily Blunt over lunch on breaks from shooting, but most of his downtime is spent with his wife and daughters. He and Emily were together to shoot scenes in the early evening, but she was soon off to join her real life leading man John Krasinski at the 24 Hour Plays. Matt filled up this year with charity projects, family travel, and work including two very different movies that are coming out over the next few months - Oscar-buzzy Invictus and action filled The Green Zone.

Emily Blunt Films With Matt and Poses With John

Emily Blunt joined Matt Damon Monday for a long afternoon on the NYC set of The Adjustment Bureau. After working on a few scenes, they took a quick lunch break before heading home afterward in the dark. Emily had another late night yesterday, when she joined fiance John Krasinski for a premiere of The Red Shoes. We've been pondering what it would be like if John's The Office met Mad Men, but he was all about posing and smiling with Emily as they checked out the movie alongside newly announced Oscar host Alec Baldwin.

Luciana brought Gia and Isabella to visit him at work, continuing their family time after a weekend in Matt's hometown. We were looking forward to seeing Matt at his ONEXONE charity event here in SF last week, but serious private matters kept the family man on the East Coast and right where he needed to be.

He evidently has reason to smile, since he's been busy soaking up all that the Big Apple has to offer when he isn't on set. He and wife Luciana have done a little bit of everything, from Broadway shows to checking out the city's strip clubs. The couple and some friends apparently visited The Hustler Club recently, but Matt only had eyes for one dancer, Luciana, showing that they know how to keep the spark alive.

He's been working hard and maintaining his passion for charity recently, while Matt still makes the most of his downtime. He turned 39 last week, which he and Luciana celebrated with an evening at the theater to check out Jude Law's Hamlet on Broadway. It recently emerged that Matt and BFF Ben Affleck are distant cousins, and the two Boston boys had something to commiserate about yesterday when their beloved Red Sox were eliminated from the playoffs after being swept by the Angels.

Matt Suggests Vince Has an Attitude Adjustment on Entourage

Matt Damon filmed scenes from The Adjustment Bureau in NYC over the weekend and this morning with his costar Emily Blunt. Matt looks like quite the professional when he's hard at work, but last night he showed off a bit of his comedic talent on the season finale of Entourage. He was perhaps the funniest part of the show as he bullied Adrian Grenier's Vince into donating $150,000 to the ONEXONE children's foundation. In real life the organization is close to his heart, but we can't see sweet Matt losing his cool quite so easily - check out the bonus clip that played after last night's credits below.

Over the weekend, Matt's viral Christian Bale-esque freak out had some fans worrying that it was real, but it's all just a part of his cameo on the season finale of Entourage. Matt's Informant is still doing solid at the box office and it's a testament to his acting ability, since his performance is the highlight of the film.
