The EMAs were last night, and that's the Environmental Media Awards. The event was at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in L.A. so of course lots of celebs attended to honor those in film and TV that increase awareness of environmental issues.

Katy and Co. Give Us an Amazing MTV EMA Show
After the women and men arrived on the red carpet for the MTV EMAs they all took their seats for the ceremony. Green Day kicked off the show and then Katy Perry did an awesome medley of the Best Song nominees. The show was full of great performances, like Beyonce in red suspenders, Jay-Z's amazing NYC backdrop, Foo Fighters rocking out and Shakira showing off her drumming.

Beyonce was the big winner at the MTV EMAs tonight, picking up three awards including Best Female! Placebo, Tokio Hotel, U2, Pixie Lott and Green Day were also among the winners at the ceremony in Berlin — check out the full list after the jump!
