What to Download: New Music Today
Tuesdays are big in entertainmentville: Not only do all the new DVD releases hit Netflix, but new music also pours into stores. So I take a spin through each week's music releases and pick out some albums and tracks worthy of a download. Here are today's selections:
Music for the TV: When I think of The Fray I can't help but associate them with the golden era of Grey's Anatomy.
Lost Music Video Hints at Season Five
Midway through Grey's Anatomy last night, ABC premiered a musical promo for the fifth season of Lost. Set to The Fray's new single, "You Found Me," we see glimpses of scenes from last season (including huge things that I guess could be considered "spoilers" if you haven't seen the last season), like Kate with Aaron, Desmond on the phone with his "constant," etc. Mixed in with those scenes are flashes of the upcoming season (Juliet and Sawyer appear to be teaming up, and we're definitely not done with Daniel Faraday and Charlotte from the helicopter).

Nick Steals the Show
No wonder Vanessa is smiling - her man was the most popular act at Z-100's annual Jingle Ball Christmas in NYC. While the event brought out many hot male performers like The Killers and The Fray, it was Nick that the girls went crazy for. Apparently Madison Square Garden was going wild for Mr Lachey.

One of our new favorite bands, The Fray were looking super cute at Jingle Ball pre-show in NYC this week. We're just loving Joe King these days. The group is having a fabulous year including their recent Grammy nominations.

VH1 Big in '06 - The Big Show
Last night was the VH1 Big in '06 Awards that celebrated everything that was big news this past year. Okay, not everything, but those that are worth laughing about. The show was hosted by DL Hughley from Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and it was clear immediately that the show was just for fun.
