I think he gets a bad rap for nothing. People fall in and out of love with people every day. He is a constant support to Bridget and his son, both financially and physically. He could be sending checks and being completely hands off. But he isn't. I don't think he's douche-baggy at all.

i think that it's like the brad/jen thing where you will ALWAYS and forever hear about how he was dating giselle while bridget was preggo - and that's just one of life's things i guess. you live and learn and move on. i think that he has a good perspective on things - which is always a nice thing. we can only wish him and his family the best.

I can't imagine being any of the three of them in that situation. I don't think he's the brightest star in the sky but I can't really pass judgement on him as a father/ ex- boyfriend/ babydaddy.

I don't know if Bridget is clingy or desperate but imagine how hard all of this is for her. I personally never liked her, I find her very annoying...but I honestly feel sorry for her when I think of her situation....but it's really weird that at the same time I approve of Tom and Gisele's relationship and I think they make a really great couple...

i don't see why people think he's a douche bag either! He and Bridget broke up in early November 2006 (according to the Bridget's statement released December 15th she and Tom amicably broke up "a few weeks" before it was confirmed by her rep)--He started dating Gisele in mid-December 2006 (according to both Tom and Gisele after a blind date set up by a mutual friend). Now she released a statement on February 22, 2007 saying she was over 3 months pregnant and when she appeared on the Martha Stewart show on March 22 she said she was 5 months pregnant meaning she got pregnant in NOVEMBER 06 (possibly result of a last minute, break up bang?)

I think it's obvious from a) The interview that Bridget gave in Harper's Bazar last year b)Gisele's Vanity Fair interview and now, this interview in details that the pregnancy took everyone by surprise! Since it was , according to Bridget, an "amicable" split i think they both decided it wasn't working anymore so they split! Why stay in a relationship with a person you are no longer in love with? Bridget found out shortly after they broke up that she was pregnant and Brady had no clue she was pregnant when the broke up. Where in that is the douchebaggery?

Was it because he didn't stay in a relationship with someone he was no longer in love with and fell in love again soon after? Was it because he continued to live his life while Bridget decided to move 3,000 miles away (*NOTE* her parents, brothers, nieces and nephews live in MA, Tom works in MA, and up until the pregnancy--she only chose roles that were based in and or around NY or MA unless it was a big project like I, Robot, or Prey)? Or is it simply biased opinions of people who think they know everything that went/goes on between Tom, Bridget, Jack, and Gisele just because they can open the latest issue of US Weekly and read what "sources" say.

It's just PR on his part. Why doesn't he want to talk about how he ignored that kid the first 12 months? Man is an overgrown baby. No, he's not trying to make the best of life as he puts it, he's simply trying to make the best out of a tarnished PR image that happened with Bridget's pregnancy. She's no saint, but I think Tom and Gisele really need to keep pimping that kid for their PR. How easy is it for Bridget to give a nice long sob story to Oprah or any TV mag about the golden couple? ok so was it PR when was Bridget announced the pregnancy, asked for privacy then went around touching her belly everytime the paparazzi was around and a few weeks later go on the Martha Stewart Show and Regis and Kelly and talked about the pregnancy? What was it when Bridget went to a Tabloid to introduce John to the World? What was it when she went on that vlog on YouTube and made that smug remark about the "hardest part of her pregnancy"? What was it when SHE announced that she and Tom broke? What was it when she gave an interview to Harper's Bazar recalling being "Heartbroken and Pregnant"?

Lancergal you summed up the whole situation perfectly. Apparently Bridget can do no wrong in the eyes of most people while Tom is the devil reincarnated. And for all the people that claim Tom & Gisele are 'pimping out' his son to the paps: Then why are there just as many pap pics of Bridget with the kid? Do you think she is pimping him out too?

I think all three of them are annoying whiners. Stay out of the spotlight if you want privacy, and stop parading that poor child in front of the cameras. He's not a photo op.

I don't think he's a douchebag either. While the pregnancy was a surprise, I think all three of them love that child, and doing their best to parent him. Tom seems like an involved father. He never abandoned his son.

Besides, I think it's a bad idea for Tom to stay in a loveless relationship with Bridget. That makes for an unhappy, unhealthy environment for his son (and the grown-ups).

Arguably, this current situation may be more loving and healthy for his son (and everybody else).

Ok, seriously? Any of you who think that Tom should have gotten back together with Bridget just because she was pregnant is an idiot. You are clearly the people who think that staying with someone you don't love is "better for the child." I hate to break it to you, but if you don't change your thinking and get with reality, then you are all going to be getting divorced someday and have miserable kids who will be in therapy for the rest of their lives.

And to say that Tom and Gisele use the baby for PR is crap. I live in Boston, and everyone here wishes they knew more about Tom! It is very rare that he opens up about his personal life. He and Gisele never announced their engagement, said anything about being married until after they had 2 ceremonies, and they STILL haven't announced that she's pregnant. But Bridget can announce Tom as the father of her baby without making a joint statement with him WHILE he was in France with Gisele on vacation, pose with John on the cover of some crappy gossip magazine, do photoshoots over a crib in a slutty apron and high heels, make pointless youtube videos bashing Tom, and talk to every media outlet who will listen about how hard it was to be "alone and pregnant" and she isn't using her kid as PR? Tom and Gisele have legit careers, while Bridget is only known as "Big's Wife" and had one lead in a crappy sci-fi movie and hasn't worked since.

And, as was stated earlier, it's not Tom's fault that Bridget moved away from HER home state and her family to the other side of the country while Tom's job is based in Massachusetts. He obviously spends tim with his son, so stop acting like he's a dead beat dad. He's been all over Boston and California with that kid and has been renting a house in LA for years, and I highly doubt he'll ever be late with child support payments! If Bridget was really that concerned about being "heartbroken and pregnant" then get your ass on birth control and use a condom. Not that complicated of a concept. Tom even went on a TV show in Boston and talked about spending time with John and being in LA for the birth and they STILL didnt believe him! Even when BRIDGET'S sources told magazines that he was seeing his kid and emailing Bridget throughout the pregnancy they wouldnt believe it!

Now, when the pictures come out--sometimes its clear that the paps used a zoom-in camera to get their shots--they cry "IT'S FOR PUBLICITY!".

GISELE BUDNCHEN IS THE RICHEST SUPERMODEL IN THE WORLD! SHE'S ALWAYS BEEN FOLLOWED AROUND BY THE PAPS! the fact that she's dating Tom Brady--a NFL QB with 3 Superbowl rings under his belt--makes people want to follow her around more! Add the baby to this--and it's pandimonium!

Bridget on the other hand--while a great, beautiful,talented actress--is NOWHERE near as famous as Gisele. She wasnt really photographed by the paps until she got pregnant and before she got pregnant she was only photographed when she was out with Tom! Everytime an article is written about her she is mentioned as Tom Brady's baby mama before she is mentioned as an actress.

@#33 Is this true? If it is I apologized to Gisele and Tom but I disagree with the only time I heard of her was when she was with Tom. I knew her before that its just that many more took notice of her because Tom was famous. And using her moving is not an excuse he was all over the world with Gisele, but if he was doing everything he could do then he's forgiven.

@#32 I threw my husband out because he no longer loved me but thought he should stay for the children. But the one thing I have to be honest with the girl he was cheating with stepped back. That was the most honerable thing to do when children are involved. A long term relationship is complicated enough. I would respect her more as a woman had she sent him back to handle his business he started. If it was really love he would have returned to Gisele and hands down there would be no question if they were cheating physically or emotionally when he broke up with Gisele. @28 I believe Tom loves Bridget til this day, but he admits he was young and it caught him by surprise! He was afraid and he ran, that not so surprising to me I see young men do all the time. Usher left Chilli cause she wanted him to marry her but he wasn't ready, he married Tameeka foster cause he thought he loved her but it turns out he didn't. OK twisted ties--It is a well known fact that Gisele was in a longtime relationship with Leonardo DiCaprio from 2000-2005. The media had a field day with their relationship when they were going out! Even more so when they broke up and they both began dating other people (Leo--Bar Rafaeli who looks very much like Gisele. Gisele--Kelly Slater and Tom Brady).
She rakes in 33 Million dollars a year and is the face of many big clothing lines such as Dolce and Gabbana and Versace. Not only that but for 6 years, she was one of the more famous of the Victoria Secret's Angels and pulled big headlines when she decided that she would not renew her contract. Also many of her peers (i.e. Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, etc.) have stated that she is the only model around that has truly earned the title "Supermodel". Believe me, people know who she is! If you don't know her last name..it's because she professionally goes by he FIRST!
Also, Gisele stated in her interview with Harper's Bazar that she told Tom that he should go back and work things out but he knew that there was nothing there anymore! What was Tom supposed to just stop his life and happiness on hold and go crawling back to Bridget only to have them break up at a later time and possibly ruin this child's life? wouldnt that further complicate things? how do you know Bridget didnt want him back? Also--if it was, like Bridget said and amicable split--dont you think they talked it over and tried it until they both saw that it wasnt working? You arent saying Bridget's lying are you?
As for Bridget--she was often seen at Patriots games. She talked about their relationships several times while they were going out!--
*At the beginning of the realtionship she stated at a superbowl party that she "wanted to punch" a sports announcer after a remark made about Tom but didnt because of Tommy.
*After that she gave an interview on the the Today show while promoting I, Robot and after a story ran on the University of Michigan she brought up that Tom went there and how she would make him sing the fight song when she got home! After this, she told the anchor that she could get him tickets to Patriots games "or what ever he wanted"
*Bridget appears in a one page spread in GQ and talks about how she is a Tomboy but her man loves her anyway!
*She tells InStyle magazine that she loves the chicken fingers at Gillete Stadium and how Tom turns up the TV when she is on it in an effort to tease her because she hates hearing herself on it.
*Tom and Bridget made several apperences together while dating-- Bridget's things--The Independent Spirit Awards, The Golden Globes Pre-Party, I, Robot premire. Tom's Things--The Espy's and Patriots Ring Ceremonies
*The Boston Herald-while not the most reliable of papers--ran several stories about Bridget being unpleasent to fans. I recall on story where Tom was picking up his dry cleaning and Bridget just stood there sighing and stomping her foot while he chatted up an old friend that worked there (she was an older woman who was friends with Bob Kraft look it up on the Boston Herald's archives if you dont believe me! it's burried deep but it's there!)
*Boston Common's Fall 2006 issue--Bridget States that her 5 year plan includes getting married and having kids! "Would love it if the person she did it with was Tom!" Also stated in this interview that she believed LA to be too much of a superficial place and not a place to raise children. "She loved her childhood and wants to be able to give her children the same thing, so i'm never leaving the east coast. I like going left field! plus my friend and family is there, my carrer is there!"

Tom on the other hand--it would seem that reporters would have to twist his arm in an effort to get him to talk about Bridget! most of the time they would only mention her as his GF. The one thing i did hear him say about Bridget was in an interview with Access Hollywood how he wasn't ready for marriage and how he knew Bridget understood that!

@twisted ties--which of these are false? I am a fan of all 3 of these people and still have some magazines that have the articles that ran during and after Tom and Bridget were together so, since i was directly reading some of them, i'd like to know which are not true...

She said she's a tomboy and he loves her anyway, nothing wrong with it. So what she said he turns up the T.V. harmless! If you have never been in a rush or a bad mood then throw the stone!

And as far as her plan for a family, seemingly another woman said those exact words and she was cute when she said it. And lets be honest what woman doesn't want to be in a happy marriage with lots of kids, if not cast the stone. She simply states that she would want to raise her children away from the big city. And you can probably look at the statistics and they will tell you most couples in Tinsel Town don't make it. The richest mother would want to shield their child from all of the non-sense that goes on there. Do you not agree? I think you misconsconstrued this as saying she was better than these people when all she wants is a safe environment for her child. I don't blame her, with the paps and all, someone said that rumors are poison.

Meet John Edward Thomas Moynahan!

Momma Bridget Moynahan posed with her 5-week old son for a spread in OK! Magazine although she refused an interview. You know she did that to piss off daddy Tom Brady.

The momma did reveal however, that she is putting her career on hold to raise her baby boy.

And if your talking about all those adorable pics with Bridget and Tom smiling from ear to ear, i think he looks great. As a matter a fact compare pics of Tom then and now. Bridget fell on love with that man. Just looking at these pics I have not seen that pretty smile since he was with Bridget. You can search google all pics are there, DO YOU SEE HIM SMILING?

The one important thing I would have added is that Tom and Bridget attended the same church that he and Gisele were married in. Wow, speaking of Catholic families I guess that was the only church within walking distance of their home. I feel Bridget is jealous of Tom being with Gisele, but I think Gisele is jealous because Bridget refuses to fight or talk with her she is giving her the silent treatment.I also believe Gisele is jealous of the time he spends with his son, and felt the need to explain herself in the interview. There have been several out right swipes against Bridget undoubtedly from Gisele and for what, Tom said he loves her and he married her. He proved it when he had the audacity to enter the church, when i look at that picture, his head is down and he gives a fake smile. I think this whole thing is tearing him up inside, because he is a good man who made some bad decisions.

But the important thing is that he says he's happy, so let it be!

PS. I'm not saying it isn't true but I do not remember Tom making a statement about marrying Bridget. Maybe he did?

What a lovely hot couple and now they are creating their family. I am so happy for them.
