Tom Cruise wasn't the only one who skipped the red carpet last night, Fool's Gold costars Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey presented an award and stopped by the press room but didn't do the outside posing. They didn't have awards to show off, of course, but the night's big winners did. Tina Fey looked a little uncomfortable with her mini actor (so missing Alec Baldwin, boo) while Edie Falco proudly showed off her double fisting skills.

The Coen Brothers' repertoire is filled with some of the most accomplished films of the past two decades: O Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Big Lebowski, Barton Fink, to name a few. But it is their latest film that most successfully emulates their greatest critical achievement, Fargo. I daresay No Country for Old Men might be even better.

Today's sequel news sort of makes my eyes roll: Men in Black 3 is coming, and Sony is bringing fresh blood to the franchise. The studio has roped in Etan Cohen of Tropic Thunder to write the script — even though neither Will Smith nor Tommy Lee Jones have signed on yet to star.

Last night's installment of Brothers & Sisters was another heavy-duty episode, as the Walkers gathered around Justin to help him beat his addiction. While it was difficult to watch him go through the pains of withdrawal, it was so interesting to watch Nora and Justin's changing relationship — that was the big highlight of the episode for me.
This episode was particularly important for Tommy, Kevin and Saul too, as each of their storylines came to a head last night.

The past day was all about the parties along with the clothes at Fashion Week. Eva Mendes — who it's your last chance to submit interview questions for! — was having fun at a bash for La Mer, while a dramatically made up Keira Knightley held court with Anna Wintour at a Cinema Society screening of The Duchess.
