Some Apple fans were mesmerized yesterday by news of the iPhone's 3.0 amazing new capabilities, but something equally interesting was going down at one of the company's stores in NYC. Clive Owen made an appearance at their Soho location along with Duplicity's director, Tony Gilroy, to chat about their film. It was just a day after their big US premiere, where Clive opened up about the fashion advice he's offered by his two daughters.

The next project from Tony Gilroy, writer and director of Michael Clayton, is Duplicity, a spy thriller with a sexy couple at the heart of it. George Clooney went from the Venice Film Festival to the Deauville Film Festival this weekend for another premiere of Michael Clayton. He arrived at the Deauville airport looking fresh and suave in white, then showed off his gray scruff while dressed in all black for the premiere. Clooney not only debuted Michael Clayton in Deauville, he was also honored with the Chevalier des Arts et Lettres medal in France.

After a pretty slow week we get to end things with a gorgeous George Clooney arriving and premiering his new movie at the Venice Film Festival. He certainly wasn't shy about sporting his salt and pepper scruff paired with a big smile - but we would expect nothing less from him! After riding the Ocean's 13 tidal wave this summer, he's shaking things up with Michael Clayton, a thriller that focuses on corporate corruption.

Julia Roberts and Clive Owen joined up in London last night for the premiere of their film Duplicity. Clive and his wife Sarah-Jane walked the red carpet together, but Julia was rolling without her husband Danny. She recently opened up about all the fun she had working with Clive, and her affection for him was on display as they posed for photos.

We've seen Julia Roberts and Clive Owen filming Duplicity in New York, in Rome and in London, and now we've got the trailer for their latest film together. The pair play corporate spies who were once romantically involved in this spy thriller by writer/director Tony Gilroy of Michael Clayton fame. Rather than join the big name films released in December, it's not due out until 20 March 2009, but the trailer has now been released.
