Tracy Morgan is a daring choice to trust to host a big event, but last night he took the stage to MC at VH1's Hip Hop Honors in Brooklyn, NY. His buddy Jimmy Fallon also made an appearance, as did Chris Rock, while a basically shirtless Kid Rock hit the red carpet and performed during the show. Mary J.

The stars arrived looking glam last night, and they were all there to see who would receive the statuettes at the Primetime Emmy Awards! 30 Rock and Mad Men were both big winners last night, taking the top Comedy Series and Drama Series trophies. Kristin Chenoweth was thrilled and tearful as she took to the podium to accept her Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy award for Pushing Daisies while Toni Collette won Best Actress in a Comedy for her amazing turn in The United States Of Tara.
Big Ups to the Clamshell: Best Flip Phones Out There Today
NBC's 30 Rock has a coveted season pass slot on my TiVo, and funnyman Tracy Morgan is just one reason why I keep coming back for more. I caught these pics of Tracy donning a big cell phone costume last week while filming scenes for A Couple of Dicks in New York with Bruce Willis, but I have to say it looks mighty uncomfortable! I don't know much about the flick, but I do know a thing or two about clamshell flip phones, and they come with certain advantages.

Tina and 30 Rockers Are Experts at Traveling With Statues
At this point LAX knows when the cast of 30 Rock is coming through expect a few large metal objects to be hiding somewhere in their bags. After Sunday's SAG win, Tina kept her Actor out of plain view, but Tracy Morgan held his high and proud. The cast won for being the best ensemble and it looks like they travel in a pack as well — high fives and all.
Pop Preview: Superhero Movie
Last night I went to see a press screening of Superhero Movie, from the stable of Airplane!, The Naked Gun and the Scary Movie series.
I didn't have high hopes for this film, as spoof movies have been getting progressively worse over the past few years (Meet The Spartans anyone?), but I was actually pleasantly surprised.
It doesn't start well – in fact the first fifteen minutes are filled with bad jokes – but as I was watching I remembered that the film is certified 12A – and I think younger teens will get a good few kicks out of those minutes.

The 30 Rock actor made an appearance on the WGN morning news and, unlike other tight-lipped celebs, was forthcoming about his ever-expanding belly. Ha. Ha.

EW asked celebs to share their favorite T-shirts and explain the stories behind them. Poor Matt didn't have time to run home and get his real favorite shirt, one that reads 'Jesus Hates the Yankees,' but he still looked adorable in a simple plain tee (yes we're biased). We always love to see everyone dressed up on the red carpet, but there's something irresistible about seeing their casual side too.
