Although I enjoy practicing yoga in my living room, I rarely have the time — and to be honest, the discipline — to complete a whole 90-minute session alone. For those reasons, I really enjoyed the DVD Trudie Styler's Warrior Yoga ($15). The full practice is 50 minutes long, and the verbal instruction is so professional and specific it felt like a private lesson.

Last night the stars got cultured at the Whitney Museum American Art Gala in NYC. A beautiful Christina Ricci and Emma Roberts stayed on trend in their dark and stormy dresses while Nick and Mariah were red carpet ready as usual. Becki Newton lightened things up a little in her busy pattern, but from the color palette across the board the darker months have hit Manhattan.

We're on part five of my celeb spotting at London Fashion Week series, and yesterday there were even more shows from the likes of House of Holland and Betty Jackson, as well as a big charity fashion show called Fashion For Relief, where lots of famous faces took to the catwalk in aid of the White Ribbon Alliance. Heidi Range lost a shoe on the catwalk as she worked it with her Sugababes bandmates, but that didn't stop her grinning as she posed! Cheryl Cole also beamed as she walked up and down the catwalk, but anyone would if they were wearing her enormous new wedding ring.

Guy Ritchie's own London pub The Punch Bowl was the venue for his 40th Birthday celebrations last night. Madonna, Rocco, Lourdes (love her outfit), David Banda, Trudie Styler and David Gest(?!) were all present for the close friends and family-filled event, as well as the requisite throng of photographers waiting outside. Guy had more than just his birthday to celebrate of course, as RocknRolla was at number one in the UK Box Office this week, and he grinned happily as he left at around 4am.

It was Madonna's turn to play supportive spouse at the premiere of Guy Ritchie's new movie RocknRolla in London last night. On a night off from her Sticky and Sweet tour, Madonna didn't join her husband on the red carpet until Guy had already spent an hour talking to the press and greeting fans. When asked about how they make it work he said, "You've just got to love your wife.

London's Leicester Square was swarming with gorgeous actors last night, and one rather well known 50-year-old in a Stella McCartney dress (do you love or hate it?), as Guy Ritchie's RocknRolla had its world premiere. Apparently Madonna arrived late because she didn't want to steal the limelight, and when asked about how he made their relationship work, Guy replied: "You've just got to love your wife... Is that boring enough?"

Sting was keen to prove he's still got it as he stripped off his top at The Police's gig at New York's Madison Square Garden last night, thought to have been their farewell show. Stewart Copeland, Andy Summers and Sting's performance was the final concert of the band's 150 date reunion tour, which lasted 14 months. The trio donned some appropriate head gear as they were joined onstage by the New York City Police band, before Sting lay back in a barber's chair while two women shaved off his beard, with his new image beamed over the big screen.

As if all the glamour of the Golden Globes last night wasn't enough, LA also hosted the Art of Elysium gala on Saturday. Sarah Jane Morris and Rachel Griffiths went for shades of blue, while their Brothers & Sisters costar Dave Annable looked gorgeous as ever as he laughed alongside Ioan Gruffudd. Sting showed off his new hair colour, Jared Leto acted as photographer, and honorary guest Eva Mendes cuddled up with Gerard Butler, who swapped his laid back Miami beach chic for a shirt and tie.

Jay-Z was up late last night to perform at his concert in Washington, DC, but he was out bright and early this morning with his furry cap on to watch President Obama being sworn in. He was joined by Beyonce, her sister Solange, and Diddy for the inauguration ceremony, all looking happy to experience each special part of the day for themselves. Also on hand to witness the event were Leo and Bar, fresh from their trip to the UK, as well as Oprah, Anne Hathaway, Adrian Grenier, and many other famous faces that were mixed into the crowd.
