Amanda Seyfried's latest film Letters to Juliet looks like a mash up of her other work. First off, her character's name is Sophie, which brings Mamma Mia to mind, as does the romantic foreign locale. But even the title itself made me do a double-take — wait, isn't she already doing a book-turned-film about letters called Dear John?!

Several stars headed to Hampton Court Palace on Saturday for the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation Gala Dinner. JK Rowling, David Walliams and Peter Kay joined guest of honour Mikhail Gorbachev to help raise £1.5million for Marie Curie Cancer Care as well as the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation, which helps children with cancer. After drinks in the grounds the celebrities hit the dancefloor, with Jonathan Rhys Meyers serenading girlfriend Reena Hammer and Rachel Stevens snuggling up to fiance Alex Bourne.

How cute is this? Amanda Seyfried and Gael Garcia Bernal are teaming up to play a couple in the Italy-set romantic movie Letters to Juliet. They're joined in the cast by Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero.

Some of our country's most seasoned actors enjoyed cocktails (and a slight wardrobe cock-up courtesy of Dame Helen Mirren!) at the London Film Critics' Circle Awards on Friday night. Amongst the stars who gathered at Grosvenor House Hotel for the do were a gorgeous Sienna Miller and a dapper James McAvoy. James and Vanessa Redgrave represented their Oscar-nominated film Atonement and both left happy with their gongs for Best British Actor and Best British Supporting Actress.

A handful of the UK's finest were at London's Grosvenor House on Friday evening for the Awards of The London Film Critics Circle cocktail party. James McAvoy and Vanessa Redgrave were on hand to represent their Oscar-nominated film Atonement, while others like Sienna Miller simply enjoyed the evening's festivities. No Country For Old Men took home Film of the Year, but James didn't go home empty-handed as he won Best Actor.

Keira Knightley and James McAvoy were once again utterly without smiles at last night's LA premiere of Atonement. Lighten up, guys! Keira was showing off more dramatic new bangs to go along with her dramatic dress.

Keira Knightley wore a craaaaa-zy chest baring dress to the London premiere of Atonement last night. The look obviously emphasizes how boney she is, though I think she (understandably) never wants to talk about that again. Even though she was back at home for the premiere, her boyfriend Rupert wasn't around for the red carpet.

Keira Knightley combined the latest trends with Ray Ban classics as she arrived in Venice yesterday. She wore a beautiful dress for the photocall of her period peice Atonement which opened up the Venice Film Festival. The buzz has already started about her performance but that being said, Keira does all that she can to avoid reading what the media has to say about her, for better or for worse.

I went into Evening really wanting — nay, expecting — to love it. Look at the cast of respected actresses in this film: Vanessa Redgrave, Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Toni Collette... the list continues.

Back when I was drawing up my summer movie previews, Evening was one of my most highly anticipated dramatic movies. The cast is full of amazing women: Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, Toni Collette, Claire Danes, and Vanessa Redgrave, among others.
Based on a book by Susan Minot, the story follows Ann (Redgrave), a dying woman who is having vivid memories about a love that changed her forever — but that she never spoke of to her two adult daughters Nina (Collette) and Constance (Natasha Richardson).
