Blake Adds a Dash of Color to the Emmys Red Carpet

There were many gorgeous fashions on display last night on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards. In the first installment of our look at what the ladies wore there was a lot of black or white, but not at all basic - Amy Poehler went dark, January Jones picked a light color with a daring cutout bodice, and Chloe Sevigny had a little bit of both worlds with her polka dot number. Right now January has a slight lead in Fab's best dressed poll - who do you think deserves the title? Drew Barrymore switched things up a little with her peach gown, but it was Blake Lively who stopped traffic in her plunging Versace. 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Vanessa Williams

Back in July, when I had the chance to interview Vanessa Williams, I couldn't help but notice the actress's stunning, steely, blue-gray eyes. And tonight, she put the focus on those famous peepers with a shimmery champagne shadow on the lids and a deep smoky brown in the creases. As for her hair, she wears it down in a cascade of curls, her warm-toned highlights peeking through. She's up for an award for her work on Ugly Betty this evening, and I'm sure many of you are hoping for a win for the longtime actress. But when it comes to Vanessa's hair and makeup tonight, do you give it a winning review?

Fashion Week Comes to a Star-Studded Close in NYC

Yesterday was the last day of Spring Fashion Week in NYC, and the celebrity attendants closed the spectacle in style. Tommy Hilfiger's show and afterparty brought out Penn Badgley and Naomi Watts, while the designer himself posed with a pretty-in-pink January Jones. Taylor Swift took a break from the ongoing Kanye drama to take in Tommy's presentation, as did Rosario Dawson and Emily Blunt. Amanda Bynes spent her afternoon at Ann Taylor, and Rachel Zoe was in an olive onesie to toast the latest Calvin Klein collection - though she had to cut out early to nurse her flu with her special drink. The madness is moving on to London now, so make sure to stay tuned to Fab UK for all the latest news!

Vanessa Williams on Aging and Fish Pedicures

You might have caught a glimpse of Vanessa Williams's sense of humor in the first installment of my interview with her, in which we discussed her use of Botox, along with her love of cars, Irish music, and baking carrot cakes.

Currently, in conjunction with the Dress For Success organization, Vanessa is making a few appearances for the Botox Cosmetic: Express Success Campaign, and in October, we'll be seeing her back on the air as the villainous Wilhelmina Slater on the much-loved Ugly Betty. Emma, Daniel & Rupert Return to NYC With Their Latest Harry

The cast of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hit New York City last night to show off their film to the eagerly awaiting American audience. Emma Watson led the show with her impeccable fashion sense, but luckily this time she skipped any wardrobe malfunctions as she chatted about hoping her college roommate isn't a huge Harry Potter fan . Emma was flanked by Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint who were joined by fans like Michelle Trachtenberg and Lance Bass. Great news for the latest in the Harry Potter franchise - the movie is supposedly on track for a great opening weekend at the box office even though we're still a week away from its release.

Emma, Rupert and Daniel Take Harry Potter To Manhattan

Bonnie Wright, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Tom Felton were out in force at the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday evening, promoting their movie alongside castmates Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman and Freddie Stroma. Gossip Girl's Michelle Trachtenberg also attended the premiere, as did Vanessa Williams, Mark Indelicato and gorgeous Eric Mabius from Ugly Betty. Gina Gershon and Lance Bass also took the opportunity to see the flick before it hits cinemas on July 15. With buzz reaching fever pitch among fans on both sides of the Atlantic, do you think the new Harry Potter movie could be even bigger than the others?

Ugly Betty Rundown: Episode 23, "Curveball," and Episode 24, "The Fall Issue"

Well, friends, this week concludes Ugly Betty's run on Thursday nights. The show brought out loads of stars for its third season finale, but then a lot of things happened and then unhappened and then rehappened again, and I'm wondering this morning if we actually needed two whole hours of that.

Betty has the job! Betty doesn't have the job. Betty's promoted! Betty isn't promoted. Betty's in love! Betty isn't in love. Betty's sort of in love? And then there's the ever-present threat of Molly dying hanging over everything, and even though it's predictable and slightly manipulative, I still cried. Let's get to chatting - just read more.

So Molly didn't die after last week's cliffhanger, and after she gets out of the hospital, the whole world is smitten with her relationship with Daniel. He's no longer a man-whore to the world but Prince Charming instead.
Therefore, he gets to go on The View to promote the wedding issue. I feel like this could have been funnier.
Um, I think I might get fired if my boyfriend showed up to work as much as Matt does. He stops by with his first painting and it's so ugly! Betty is practically naked in it, too.
The best ever is when Amanda sees it and gasps, "It's like looking at the butt of Satan!"
Of course, when Betty is all, "Everything is perfect! There's even a rainbow!" when she and Matt talk about moving in together, that's right when she spots Henry.
Then she Facebook-stalks him! Turns out Henry has a new aerobics girlfriend (Hazel from Gossip Girl), so now he's all buff.
I got so irritated with Betty when she does the whole compare-Matt-to-Henry scoreboard thing. Betty's inner voice is kind of funny, though: "Should I mention Matt's rich? No! That's gross."
And then Matt making his stomach talk is awesome.
Daniel is so awkward at the baseball game with Molly when he tells that other lady he doesn't want to go out with her! I cringed.

I'm convinced the only reason Betty gets the job at The New York Review is so we could get a teary Daniel/Betty goodbye moment. But then of course she doesn't get the job and is staying at Mode, so . . . whatever.
Meanwhile, Matt was driving me nuts. He gets mad at Betty all the time! He's so sensitive that she doesn't announce to the whole world they're moving in together.
But then, um, Matt totally has a right to be mad because Betty makes out with Henry! And Matt sees it, of course. Why is he there? Also, do people really do this Facebook status message stalking thing? For one thing, it's kind of hard to find people's status messages on Facebook these days.
Christine Baranski and Vanessa Williams singing together at the piano is brilliant. Dream come true.
Baranski spills the beans that Claire has a love child somewhere out there. I kept hoping/thinking it would be Matt.

Who does Willi see in the end? Connor?! And does Daniel really see Molly's ghost? Also, I never really thought Matt and Betty were destined to be together, but I didn't see evil Matt coming, either. He's going to be so awful next season, I just know it.

Ugly Betty Rundown: Episode 22, "In the Stars"

This week's episode of Ugly Betty is packed with proposals and marriage talk and even an honest-to-goodness wedding. But who's getting married? It's pretty easy to figure out - but fun to watch nonetheless.

I've often wondered how someone as ambitious as Betty could remain an assistant at Mode for so long. The crappy economy offers the writers a fairly reasonable way to keep her stagnated in her career a little while longer, and this episode fleshes that out a bit. Finally, Matt and Betty have yet another fight, making me think this romance is clearly destined for failure. Let's chat about it, just read more.

Hilda has some good zingers this week. I love her line to Matt and Betty in the kitchen before work: "Please don't be one of those kiss-with-the-food-in-the-mouth couples. That's just gross!" I agree. Those couples bug.
Also, whoa. Hilda is totally wearing stirrup pants. Only she can pull that off.
Betty is excited because it's her review, but despite being "excellent" at her job, Daniel can't promote her due to a hiring freeze. Bummer for Betty. It strikes me as realistic because if Mode has a hiring freeze, basically no one in publishing is hiring, which means Betty - someone dead set on being a magazine editor - gets stuck.
I like Daniel's line acknowledging Betty's ambition: "I know you have bigger aspirations for yourself than booking my tan."
Molly sees the wedding props for Mode's bridal issue and thinks Daniel is proposing. Amanda is hilarious: "Oh no. She definitely thought you were proposing. Yikes. That is really embarrassing."
I'm always touched by Claire Meade, twisted though she may be. The moment when she gives Daniel her ring to give to Molly is cute.

Also fun? Claire and Willi trading ex-husband/dead-husband insults while yanking around a model in a neon-pink wedding gown.
It turns out Matt is actually super flaky when it comes to his career. I thought he was into sports writing, but whatever. His goofing around on YouTube in Amanda and Marc's apartment is awesome: "Wait, wait! We're about to watch a gopher make a dramatic face!"
Meanwhile, the Suarez family learns that Ignacio's lady love is looking into a nursing job in California. When he asks his family what to do, they're all, "Duh! If you like it put a ring on it!" - complete with Beyonce-inspired hand motions. Great scene.
When Betty freaks about not getting the planetarium, she says to Marc, "This is Adele! Not Amy Winehouse!" Marc says that's funny. I don't know if I agree.
Yay! Christine Baranski is back! She's always a welcome addition to an episode. This time around, it's hard to tell if she's really all that evil. She is manipulative, though, and Betty's kind of a dope for going along with her scheme and not just being honest with Matt.
The Molly/Daniel romance hasn't moved me all that much since it started, but I'm only human: that talk of cookware lasting the happy couple into their 50s is really heartbreaking!
Their wedding is way cute, too. The best part, of course, is Willi destroying planets in the background

Ignacio does the right thing, I think, by letting the one he loves go. Betty and Matt make up and he brings her Adele. Daniel and Molly have a totally adorable planetarium wedding - but then disaster strikes! I saw it coming, but still, poor Molly! What did you think of this episode?
