Movie Preview: Veronika Decides to Die

Based on the bestselling novel by Paulo Coelho, Veronika Decides to Die stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as a young woman who tries to commit suicide, only to end up in a mental institution with a weakened heart and five days left to live.

The trailer is actually quite artful and lovely. There's little dialogue, mostly it's just beautifully sad, evocative images and music to go along with them.

Sarah Michelle Gellar kept it simple with a black and white outfit while filming her new movie Veronika Decides to Die in NYC. The movie title sounds a little morbid, and the last time we heard about it, Kate Bosworth had the lead, but we have faith that SMG can brighten up the dark plotline. However the movie ends up, we are glad to see Sarah Michelle getting back to work - between this and Possession, we might be able to get our SMG fix even if it's not on the small screen.

SMG Finds the Sunny Side of the Street

Sarah Michelle Gellar got a break from shooting Veronika Decides to Die to take a stroll through NYC with a friend and some iced coffee yesterday. Mrs. Prinze is looking at a busy work-filled Summer, but we wonder if she'll find time to head to the beach with Freddie to give those surfing skills another try.

CK Brings Fashion Week Into The Home Stretch

Calvin Klein brought out some of Hollywood's cutest fashionistas at Fashion Week yesterday including the adorable Ashley Olsen. Her simple white t-shirt with matching black bra and skirt was sweet yet not so innocent. Rosario however, went way sexier showing off her curves in a skintight dress. Kate Bosworth was back in town after looking way cuter in pink at TIFF. She's been quite the busy girl lately and is only picking up more speed - she just signed on for another movie called Veronika Decides to Die. Definitely sounds like heavier stuff than Calvin Klein's new spring line, but maybe Kate's ready for a change.
