Time magazine's annual issue featuring 'The World's 100 Most Influential People' hit newsstands this week, and last night there was a party in New York to celebrate its publication. Stella McCartney, Whoopi Goldberg, and John Legend were among the 'most influential' featured who turned out to party, and they were supported by Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler and Claire Danes, who wrote a piece about Zac Efron for the issue.

After taking the stage to accept their awards, the night's big winners — and some of the exciting presenters — walked backstage to pose for photos and talk to the press. Jennifer Aniston and Sarah Jessica Parker skipped the interview aspect of things instead posing pretty in front of the big gold men before running off to the after parties. The big award winners were still glowing from their wins when they stepped in front of the mics to talk about what brought them there.

Madison Square Garden had a star-studded audience to watch the Cavs defeat the Knicks last night. Jay-Z came for a second time this week and this time hanging out with Diddy and checking out the dancers for a fun boys' night. For Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick, the action at the Knicks-Lakers game was in the audience as they publicly kissed in NYC last night. Radio City Music Hall was bursting with stars of the stage last night at the 2008 Tony Awards. The glitz and glamour were everywhere as some of the biggest names in Broadway came together to celebrate each other. Mary-Louise Parker was a highlight as usual, though I'm not sure what to say about the Counting Crows' Adam Duritz on her arm.

Last night the Tony Awards took place in New York – giving plaudits to the hard workers hoofing it night after night on Broadway – and my girl Buzz has info on all the winners. Most of the red carpet ladies stuck to elegant dresses in dark and pale shades, with occasional bursts of bright colour from Marisa Tomei, Christine Baranski and Gina Torres. Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies) and Mary-Louise Parker looked stunning in their black dresses, as did Glenn Close when she stepped on to the stage to present an award in her fluid number.
