Rihanna stole the show in her dramatic white dress as she and her fellow honorees took the red carpet at last night's Glamour Women of the Year celebration in NYC. Carnegie Hall was brimming with beautiful ladies from Iman to Maria Shriver and Diane von Furstenberg. Catherine Zeta-Jones stood out in blue and had Michael Douglas by her side for support.

The GQ Men of the Year awards were held in London last night and it was the star studded event you'd expect with guests like Mickey Rourke, Kate Moss, Yoko Ono, Take That, Lily Allen, Will Young, James Corden, Alan Carr, Gemma Arterton and many more! Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason won Band of the Year, and afterwards Yoko complimented the boys, saying, "I love 'Shine'. I know most of their greatest hits.

Many of the ladies on the red carpet had the chance to change outfits since they performed and presented as well. In fact, during some parts of the show the beautiful boys like John Mayer and John Legend were simply background fodder to Alicia Keys and Fergie's fabulous voices. We were especially excited to see Alicia getting down in an age appropriate outfit that made her shine.

This week's Bella Donna isn't someone who usually comes to mind when you think of an iconic beauty, but she certainly exemplifies the look and feel of the late '60s and '70s.
Despite the common perception of Ono as "the woman who broke up the Beatles," she was more than a glorified groupie. Born in 1933, she spent her childhood going back and forth between New York City and Japan, where she survived the 1945 bombing of Tokyo.

I've been looking forward to reading this new book, Asian Faces ($24.95). It's in bookstores today, and I have a feeling it will become the beauty bible for Asian women of all ages and ethnicities.
