Grammy's 50th Kept on Going and Going and Going
Many of the ladies on the red carpet had the chance to change outfits since they performed and presented as well. In fact, during some parts of the show the beautiful boys like John Mayer and John Legend were simply background fodder to Alicia Keys and Fergie's fabulous voices. We were especially excited to see Alicia getting down in an age appropriate outfit that made her shine.

Despite the common perception of Ono as "the woman who broke up the Beatles," she was more than a glorified groupie. Born in 1933, she spent her childhood going back and forth between New York City and Japan, where she survived the 1945 bombing of Tokyo.

I've been looking forward to reading this new book, Asian Faces ($24.95). It's in bookstores today, and I have a feeling it will become the beauty bible for Asian women of all ages and ethnicities. Written by Korean-American makeup artist Taylor Chang-Babaian, Asian Faces features illustrated, step-by-step guides for creating night and day makeup looks.
