Hilary Duff was spotted walking around LA on Thursday with...Aaron Carter? I guess that Hil has buried the hatchet with her ex, which seems like a good thing since as far as I can tell he was never worth all the drama. As Pop put it all the way back in 2005, this is what LL and Hilary were fighting over? Heh. Well, the starlets made up a while back so I guess he wanted to get in on the truce action. Thankfully Hilary has moved on with her life in so many ways (and has a hot new guy) since she was Lizzie Maguire fighting with Lohan over this guy.

Oprah's empire has expanded to Satellite Radio. Today marks the debut of her own channel called Oprah and Friends which will air on XM Satellite Radio. Of course her BFF Gayle King will be helping her with hosting duties. - AP

Aaron who? Isn't he like 12. I know, I know, I don't usually report anything on the Carter family but the 18 year old proposed in Vegas and it's a slow news day. Apparently he was really nervous. I wonder why since we know this is probably just a total PR shame for his reality show which airs next month on E! Here's more:

Singer Aaron Carter is engaged to Playboy Playmate Kari Ann Peniche, the bride-to-be confirms to PEOPLE.

Carter, 18, popped the question to Peniche (who previously dated Aaron's brother Nick) on Saturday in Las Vegas while they were onstage in front of 200 people during the Playboy Comedy Tour at the Palms Casino Resort.

The couple, who plan to wed in the next six months, hugged and kissed after Peniche accepted the proposal, Playboy tour producer and comedian Cort McCown tells PEOPLE.

Sounds like true love. A proposal in front of 200 strangers a month before he needs press. Does anyone else think it's weird he is marrying someone his brother dated? Should we start taking bets now on if these two actually make it down the aisle?

Sugar Bits - Aaron Carter Arrested for Drug Possession

Aaron Carter was arrested in Texas yesterday for marijuana possession after police found at least 2 ounces of pot in the his car when he was pulled over for speeding. Aaron will be in court today for his arraignment, but it looks like he's pretty burnt. - TMZ

Kelly Osbourne's Putting On Her Dancing Shoes!

While in the UK we're looking forward to Strictly Come Dancing kicking off in a couple of weeks, Kelly Osbourne is in LA at the moment training for the US equivalent, Dancing With The Stars. She's paired with professional dancer Louis Van Amstel for the show, who's previously had Lisa Marie Presley as his dance partner on the programme! She'll be up against fellow celebs Melissa Joan Hart, Aaron Carter, Macy Gray and Donny Osmond on the show, and had this to say about her decision to appear:

"I mean this from the bottom of my heart: I don't care if I win. I'm not doing this to try and prove that I'm better than someone else at something, I'm doing it because it scares me. Dancing is something that I've always really wanted to be able to do, but never had the confidence and the technique, if you know what I mean. I'm not very graceful, so it's just something that absolutely terrifies me - and it's the main reason that I kind of wanted to do it."

The MuchMusic Video Awards hit Toronto last night with a star-studded red carpet and a stage scattered with big performances. Taylor Lautner represented for the New Moon cast, smiling big and waving to the screaming adoring fans. Audrina Patridge sexed it up as usual in her LBD, though somewhere along the line she managed to piss off someone who apparently took Brody Jenner’s phone and called her a nasty name on his twitter. The Black Eyed Peas - who won International Group Video of the Year - the Jonas Brothers and Lady Gaga were among the night's performers.

Hilary Duff channeled a bygone era posing in a Bonnie and Clyde inspired shoot for the May issue of Allure. Just like the infamous housewife turned bank robber, Hilary is ready to leave the life she knows behind. She opens up to the magazine about being a regular adult, wanting to ditch her squeaky-clean image, and her peers Lindsay Lohan, Miley Cyrus, and Avril Lavigne. Here's more:

On Lindsay Lohan: "Supposedly, I stole Lindsay Lohan's boyfriend [Aaron Carter.] We were, like, 13! And I've never stolen anyone's boyfriend! I don't know how you do that! . . . She was talking about it and I wasn't. It made us both look bad and put up a big weirdness. Really she was just a girl my age. We are fine now, by the way."
On Miley Cyrus: "We don't have each other's phone numbers. But when she meets me, she's excited. It's cute – I see a lot of myself in her."
On being with 24-year-old Joel Madden when she was 15: “He was never nervous, like, ‘I could get arrested,’” she says. But does admit, “It looked bad.”

On Avril Lavigne: "I said something about how she didn't like her fans dressing like her, and how she should appreciate that because it's a compliment. Hilary's upcoming role as a sexy Eastern European pop star in War, Inc. will probably change some people's impressions of her. We're all for growing up but we hope she doesn't try too hard to prove she's not a good girl anymore since we think it's part of her appeal unlike many of her peers.

Hilary Shows the Islander Love

Hilary Duff may have been spotted with her ex Aaron Carter over the weekend, but she was happily sitting rinkside at MSG last night to cheer on her boyfriend Mike Comrie at the Islanders vs. Rangers game. New York rivalries are usually pretty intense, and Hil looked a little nervous for her man when she wasn't on her feet rooting for him. As much fun as hockey games are, we can't imagine that watching your boyfriend get shoved around is the always easy. That said, Mike might want to hang onto his good-luck charm - his team won the game 2-1 and he and Hilary hit up Butter for a little post game celebrating.
