Tight squeeze, eh Sony? Some new promo pics of the new VAIO P Series Lifestyle PC have enraged some Japanese bloggers who are ashamed by the ad's unrealistic size portrayal.
Considering it is the world's lightest 8-inch notebook, it's not totally outlandish to assume it might be able to fit in the pocket of a pair of jeans.

If you've ever gone to a pub and ordered yourself a Guinness, you know that there's a bit of waiting involved. The bartender starts to pour your beer, walks away, mixes up several other drinks, comes back pours some more, and eventually after a few cycles of this, you're presented with a lovely, perfect Guinness. It's definitely a good things come to those who wait sort of a thing.

I have to admit, I love the Mac vs. PC ads from Apple. Maybe it's my awkward crush on Apple Guy Justin Long, maybe it has something to do with all the funny remakes or maybe it's just clever advertising.

Angelina has a new commercial, but unless you live in Japan, you won't see it on television. That's because Angie hawks products in Japan that she doesn't promote elsewhere (so do Brad and Orlando). She's appearing as the face Shiseido's new Integrate cosmetics line, which, unfortunately, isn't sold online.

I love the name of Dove's new skincare and hair brand, Pro-Age — as in, the opposite of anti-age. This ad wasn't shown on TV, because it showed too much skin, but I think it's wonderful. Watch the video and tell me: What do you think of this commercial?

I recently came across this great advertisement from the Portuguese Ministry of Health:
Aside from the ad being really beautiful and featuring one of my favorite toys, the message reads:
Don’t Play With Your Health. Check Your Cholesterol. High blood cholesterol is one of the major causes of heart diseases and strokes.

Yesterday we ruminated over how insidery and confusing the man-tackles-mom pro-life commercial is, and now the Washington Post dug up the ad that didn't air. The one that makes semisense. While it also shies away from saying abortion and is still completely cryptic, it does not distract with ridiculous antics, making it less WTF?

Relatively speaking, there seemed to be a lot less boobs, and more smart tech in the commercial breaks during the 2010 Super Bowl, which is a good thing — it solidifies the idea that geeks really are rock stars! Although there were plenty of tech-centric spots in-between the fast food and sugary soda commericial goodness, the ad that sticks out the most in my mind is FLO TV's "My Generation" spot featuring Will.I.Am.
Will lays his vocals on the classic rock song, while images of historical moments flash across our screen.

Despite it's name, French Connection is actually a British brand. The High Street store was founded in 1972 and is now one of leading affordable British labels. This Spring they have had fun with their ad campaign which pokes fun at their name.
