Are Celebrities in the Front Row Important to the Brand?
This week details have been revealed about how much celebrities get paid to sit in the front row at fashion shows. Amongst those discussed are A listers Beyonce Knowles (who gets $80,000-$100,000), Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen ($80,000 each) and Chloe Sevigny ($60,000 or more). However, it seems the top dog is Rihanna who gets a staggering $100,000 or more to sit pretty.

Normally, I prefer to see models on the front of Vogue rather than celebrities, but this month I might just be changing my mind. One of my favourite FabCons Alexa Chung has finally landed the cover of British Vogue, and she's wearing those clogs!
The stylish model turned presenter looks beautiful on the cover as Vogue state that she is "fashion's favourite girl".

Every season a trend comes along and I wonder, will anybody actually wear that? Then a few months later somebody effortlessly pulls it off (in this situation it is Alexa Chung) and suddenly I'm lusting after it more than anything else! When I saw clogs at the Chanel Spring show, I couldn't imagine actually wearing them, but now I'm one step closer!
Alexa is Among the Fashion Week Guests in Paris
Alexa Chung was among the celeb guest at the Chanel couture show at Paris Fashion Week yesterday, looking lithe in her cream dress and her chunky clogs as she posed inside and outside the venue. Claudia Schiffer and Charlotte Gainsbourg were also in the front row, Claudia wore an eye catching bright yellow dress, while Charlotte dressed down in jeans. There was no one more eye catching than the lady on Kanye West's arm, Amber Rose, who always dresses to impress.
Anne Leads the Celebrity Couture Guests to Paris
The Spring couture shows are currently underway in Paris, which means it's time for star-studded front rows. Anne Hathaway was Giorgio Armani's guest of honor yesterday for his presentation, though she was able to tear herself away from his runway full of red carpet-worthy gowns long enough to exchange loving glances with her boyfriend Adam Shulman. Anne recently found out she's the year's female recipient of Harvard's Hasty Pudding pot, and she's also set to announce the Oscar nominations back in LA on February 2.

After fellow Brit and Mulberry creative director Emma Hill spotted her with a vintage Mulberry men's briefcase, she was inspired to create an updated version. Since then, the new style — named Alexa — has replaced the vintage as her sidekick.

Alexa Chung is back to what she does best for 2010 as she returns to modeling for Pepe Jeans. The British model turned presenter has been living in New York for the past year, but still retains her cool eclectic style. She poses in this new campaign showing off her pins with male models Tom Guinness and Boyd Holbrook.

Alexa Chung is one of my favourite girls. She always looks great, yet remains true to herself combining vintage finds with designer pieces. When she moved to New York, I was worried she'd lose her quirky British style, but fortunately that hasn't been the case!
