Matthew, Alexa and Ed Attend the International Emmys!
Graham Norton hosted the 2009 International Emmy Awards at the New York Hilton Hotel last night, where Brits won five awards! Ben Whishaw and Julie Walters both won acting awards, but neither attended. However there were some fab British guests in the shape of Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick — who looked handsome as ever, and Matthew Rhys, who was also looking dashing in his suit.

Brit in New York Alexa Chung has been busy this week attending parties and award shows. The MTV presenter started the week at the CFDAs with Jason Wu where she wore one of his frocks. She then attended the mtvU Woodie Awards in a sailor dress before heading to the New Moon premiere in a navy blue prom dress with natural makeup.
Robert, Kristen, and the New Moon Cast Pause to Party
Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner were together for last night's special NYC screening of New Moon along with their many costars. It looks like they split up for the afterparty, though, with Robert and Kristen spotted afterward looking far more casual on their way out of a lounge in the city's Meatpacking District. The official afterparty was held in a different neighborhood at The Box, where Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr were spotted making a hasty retreat in the rain.

Last night at the New Moon premiere in New York City, the stars from the Twilight saga and celebrity fans gathered for the finale in this long, and seemingly grueling (albeit exciting) press tour. I loved Kristen Stewart's dark eyes contrasted by her pale skin and lips and Ashley Greene's pretty pink pout, but I wasn't totally sold on the overly mature red lip and metallic dark eye on Taylor Momsen. Nicole Kidman was out in New York last night at the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York. She wore a long white dress to the stylish event, which probably would not have stayed so clean if her gorgeous 16 month old daughter Sunday Rose was with her! Last night the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awards dinner took place bringing together some very stylish faces and models. The prestigious prize was scooped by Sophie Theallet. Alber Elbaz presented the award to her which included $200,000 and a one-year mentorship with fashion professionals.

From grown ups enjoying evening fun like Alexa and Agyness at the Heroes vs. Villains bash and Kelly and Luke at Heidi and Seal's party, to families trick-or-treating like the Stefani-Rossdales and Christina, it was a fancy dress fest.

The stars were out in New York last night at the Whitney Museum Gala Studio Party in Manhattan, where glam was the order of the night for the guests. Alexa Chung looked beautiful in pale blue, on the day the second series of It's On With Alexa Chung started on MTV in the US, while Mischa Barton went for gown in a darker shade. Shimmering nudes and metallics were also prevalent as Gossip Girl's Taylor Momsen played her skin coloured dress up with a very smoky eye, and buddies Donatella Versace and Lindsay Lohan also wore pale shades.
