It looks like British beauty Alexa Chung has taken to a shorter and more structured hairstyle than we've seen in the past. She debuted her new bob on Monday night at Bungalow 8 whilst out with some friends. I quite like this new look and think it was due time for a sophisticated change. I mean let's face it, if you're going to be a cover girl then you must look the part! What are your thoughts on her Ms. Chung's chin-length hairdo?

Do You Ever Copy Celebrity Hair Trends?

I have to admit that when Victoria Beckham went for the chop this week, I was a tiny bit tempted to follow suit. Her pixie cut looks so fun and flattering. Friends told me that when Lily Allen dyed her hair pink it suddenly made the colour look oh-so-desirable, whilst Daisy Lowe's fringe and hat accessorising has been widely copied on the streets of Shoreditch this summer. It's important to make sure a hair cut and colour suits your face shape though, as what looks cool on a celebrity may not work on everyone.

Meanwhile Alexa Chung's messy and simple long bob always looks cute and if I weren't so obsessive about growing my hair I might even ask 'for an Alexa' at my local hairdressers.

Trend Alert: Centre Parts at the 2009 BAFTA TV Awards

Last night at the Television BAFTA Awards, the most popular hairstyle of the evening was centre parts. This is a familiar style that we typically see on celebrities at affairs. I love the way the lengths on those that wore their hair down was unstructured and for Louise Redknapp and Tamara Beckwith, they let tendrils fall loosely to the wayside for a more casual effect. Exclusive! Leigh Lezark Dishes On Her Must Have Products!

The Spring 2010 Twenty8Twelve Fashion show was so much fun. Not only were the clothes amazing, but I was able to speak to Alexa Chung about her beauty secrets right after she and FabSugar UK talked fashion. And as if that's not enough, we also got to see Anna Wintour in the front row! But just you wait, because it gets even better. After the show, I even snagged a few seconds with DJ Leigh Lezark where we gabbed about her beauty product must-haves. To my surprise, the beautiful brunette was even more stunning up close and personal.

Her blue eyes were piercingly bright, outlined in heavy black liner and her hair was smooth, straight and perfectly in place. Here's the lowdown on what we talked about:

What's the one beaut product you can't live without? I'm obsessed with Charles Worthington Dream Hair Shine Finishing Spray . I love what it does to my hair.
What's your best kept beauty secret? I guess getting plenty of sleep and drinking lots and lots of water to stay hydrated.
What's your favourite beauty brand? Chanel. Definitely Chanel.

London Fashion Week, Spring 2010: Twenty8Twelve

There has been a lot of hype surrounding the Twenty8Twelve catwalk shows since they began last season. Spring 2010 was no exception with an impressive front row boasting Anna Wintour, Alexa Chung (maybe she scored herself a future Vogue cover?), Pixie and Peaches Geldof and Leigh Lezark. Much like Topshop Unique, the soundtrack to this show was early '90s grunge and this was definitely reflected on the catwalk. The official inspiration list was pretty vast from modern artists like Willem de Kooning, to African street style photographs to the deep South. There were short shorts and crop tops revealing bare midriffs. Faded denim and scarves through the hair added to the all American vibe. Sienna literally jetted off after the show to make it to Broadway on time – what a commute!

Alex, Bonnie, Naomi, Kate and Alexa Party It Up At LFW!

While the shows have been in full swing during the day, London Fashion Week's nights are full of parties for designers and fashion houses celebrating their shows and letting their hair down a little. Last night, FabUK and I went to the Mulberry party where we watched Friendly Fires perform, and spotted Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof, Bonnie Wright, Tom Sturridge, Emma Roberts, Ben Grimes, Nicola Roberts and some other recognisable faces. Other celebs partying and dining together this weekend included Anna Wintour, Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Simon Cowell and others at the TopShop Unique dinner, and Peaches Geldof and Fearne Cotton at the PPQ party. Exciting!

Celeb Catchup From The Weekend At New York Fashion Week!

There were Brits out in force at New York Fashion Week this weekend as the shows and parties really kicked into gear! Alexa Chung tried to cheer up a sullen looking Taylor Momsen as they hung out backstage at Bryant Park, while Taylor's Gossip Girl costars Blake Lively and Jessica Szohr were spotted at the shows. A newly dark haired Agyness Deyn reflected the grungy goth look of a lot of the guests, as she partied at the Alexander Wang bash alongside fellow guests Mischa Barton and Kirsten Dunst. Pixie and Peaches Geldof also showed up at a couple of events seeming almost as inseparable as Amanda Bynes and Hilary Duff over the weekend. It wasn't just girls though, Jared Leto, Mark Ronson, Corbin Bleu and Bruce Willis were among the men in attendance!

Which Ashlee Simpson-Wentz Look Do You Prefer?

Ashlee Simpson was out and about in New York yesterday as she prepared to appear on It's On With Alexa Chung. The flame haired singer sported two different looks in the Big Apple. First, she teamed a grey tee with skin tight leather trousers and accessorised with a Jimmy Choo clutch and layered necklaces. Later, she changed in to ripped skinny jeans and white t-shirt and slouchy black jacket. Which of her looks do you prefer?

Josh And Alexa Are Plaid It's Halloween

Did you go to a costume party like Josh Hartnett and Alexa Chung did on Halloween? They attended Bungalow 8 for a spooky All Hallows Eve party, where Pixie Geldof also partied it up. OK, I guess Josh didn't get the costume memo - unless he's going for 'Hollywood actor in London on his downtime' - but Alexa certainly went for it with grey in her hair, a deathly pallor, and a cut throat drawn on in fake blood. Josh left in the same cab as Alexa at the end of the evening, but I'm sure they were off to spend time with Alexa's man Alex Turner.
