Kristen Stewart Style, Post-Twilight, Present-New Moon

Ever since Twilight, we've been watching Bella Swan, I mean, Kristen Stewart, like a hawk. Her street style hasn't changed much - jeans, tee, and leather jacket are her usual M.O. - but her red carpet looks have evolved into something magical. In the beginning of her post-Twilight stardom, the actress shied away from elaborate gowns and funky frocks, but times have changed and so has Kristen. As of late, the star has been dazzling us with head-to-toe designer looks from the likes of Jason Wu, Alexander McQueen, and Oscar de la Renta, to name a few. Hottie Robert Pattinson as arm candy doesn't hurt, either. Is it just me, or is the shy wallflower starting to bloom into an elegant rose? See what I'm talking about!

Freaky or Fabulous? Daphne Guinness in Alien Alexander McQueen

Camilla Belle isn't the only one adoring Alexander McQueen's Spring '10 collection: Daphne Guinness loves it, too. The muse hosted NARs' 15th anniversary party in NYC yesterday decked out in the designer's ethereal alien dress and matching shoes. The sky-high platforms would have made a major statement on their own, but of course, Daphne took it to the next level and committed to the whole space-age ensemble - even her hair looks galactic! Is her 'fit freaking you out, or do you think it's fashion fabulous?

Wow. It's not every week my faves elicit that response. The holiday party circuit seems to be revving up and it shows in star's styles. Celebrities are letting their guard down and experimenting with silhouettes, textures, frills, and fun - that's what I'm talking about. Camilla Belle exhibited all these with her futurama Alexander McQueen frock; it nearly took my breath away. Pale Casadei heels and Cartier jewels topped her off. I love how she exemplified the power of red by incorporating a draped skirt with an eccentric red houndstooth top by Alexander McQueen. The gray and red color combo is ideal for Fall, and notice how she contrasted the structural theme with a girly red bow. Let's not forget those Giuseppe Zanotti metal cap-toe booties - I'm dead.

There's a tremendous amount of hype growing around the second Twilight movie, New Moon, which will be released on the 20th November. Kristen and Robert have gained a lot of attention scoring many magazine covers including American Harper's Bazaar (you can read the interview here). In the steamy shoot the actors had fun in an impressive designer wardrobe which included pieces by Gucci, Dior Homme, Versace and Prada. One of Kristen's dresses which especially caught my eye is from Alexander McQueen's dramatic Autumn '09 line. The fishtail number is sufficiently gothic for Kristen, yet still glamorous. I would love to see her wear something like this on the red carpet. Do you like McQueen's design on her?

Yes, Kate Beckinsale and hubby Len Wiseman are a handsome couple, but so are the star and her glorious gray clutch. This neutral hue gives off a casual yet refined vibe without taking the spotlight away from an outfit. I love wearing my gray clutch with bright ensembles for extra contrast, but it also works with lighter tones. Just look at Kate for inspiration: her clutch plays the perfect supporting role to her silver J.Mendel dress - simply dazzling.

We're going to borrow another one from the boys. Menswear is no new trend, but boyfriend jeans, blazers, and boyfriend shirts have had their run. Ever notice how men have such wonderful hat options? Liv has. She wore this incognito navy hat whilst frolicking with her son, Milo, in NYC. Clearly, it was windy, but that much more picturesque. She tied her whole navy look together with it. Bad hair days begone thanks to the boyfriend hat.

The nonstop precipitation has me in a bit of a funk, but natural born styler brightened up my day. Her rainproof ensemble makes me want to start singin' in the rain. She refrained from featuring the per-usual rain jacket and galoshes, and, instead, chose a pair of patent boots, skinny trousers, Lichtenstein sweater, and fringe poncho complete with a clear, kitschy umbrella! Now that's what I call slick, wet-weather dressing.
