Almond Oil (or sweet almond oil as it is sometimes called) is a carrier oil that is made from warm-pressed, sweet-almond kernels. It has a pale yellow color in its natural state, and it contains strong concentrations of vitamin E.
It is frequently added to emollient bases to help soften and heal.

It's a big movie weekend, for sure. With New Moon finally out, I've already committed myself to spend an afternoon at the theater — the only complication is that I'm not so fond of the movie-theater fare. It's an admittedly challenging place to stick to healthy food choices, since there usually aren't any to begin with.

While I was browsing products in The Body Shop a few days ago, I bought this Almond Oil Nail & Cuticle Treatment ($12). Not only did it have an olfactory allure (it smells like sweet nuts) but the formula really works. Rainy days go away! Not only does the wet stuff totally annoy some pets, it can be harmful, too. Check out this message about a three-year-old blue American Pitbull:
We rescued Diva at seven months old, and she had already had her ears clipped.

Not only am I obsessed with honey-enhanced beauty products, but ever since I went to Greece, I can't get enough of unsweetened yogurt (mixed with honey, of course). So when I came across this DIY face mask recipe and realized that I already had all of the ingredients stocked in my kitchen, I decided to give it a go. The treatment takes about twenty minutes to complete, and if you're looking for a budget friendly pick-me-up, this at home alternative is effective, and it's cheap as chips.
