John, Jason and Judd Are STARS and Studs in the Night

John Mayer proved to be the main attraction at last night's STARS benefit gala in LA. He cracked a few jokes from the podium, before whipping out his guitar to perform some of his new music that you guys are loving. He was rolling solo for the evening, despite the recent rumors about his romancing Rashida Jones that her publicist denied and of course the ongoing Jennifer Aniston reports. Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann were the evening's honorees, and funny guys like Jason Segel and Seth Rogen came out to toast the duo. There doesn't seem to be much news about Jason's apparent romance with Chloe Sevigny, but his How I Met Your Mother costar Josh Radnor is about to see some on-screen developments with special guest star Rachel Bilson.

Yesterday in Los Angeles, American actress Amy Smart was seen leaving the Byron & Tracey salon with the palest platinum hair I've ever seen her don. I love Amy's comedic talents and think she's beautiful, however, this is an instance where too fair of hair can wash you out. I realize that she's not wearing makeup at all in this photo, but compared to her honey-toned low-lights and dark brown hair colours from the past, her skin looks like it's lacking vitality. Nicole Gets a Little Love From Gossip Girl

Nicole Richie ran errands in LA yesterday and later on tweeted her anticipation about Gossip Girl's new episode. Samantha Ronson teased her saying Chuck Bass dies, but Nicole may have gotten a bigger laugh out of the shout-out to her very short time in jail. Nicole seems like someone who might get a kick out of a throwback to her bad-girl days, but today she showed how far she's come by participating in the Environmental Media Association & LA Unified School District's effort to educate about the importance of organic farms and encourage schools in the city to open one of their own.

Leo, Cameron and Jon Stay Eco-Friendly and Smiling

Environmentally-conscious celebrities headed to the National Resources Defense Council's 20th Anniversary party in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. It was no surprise to see two of our favorite eco-loving celebrities Cameron Diaz and Leonardo DiCaprio walking the red carpet. Cameron's also had some fun movie news to celebrate - she's in talks to star in a legal comedy called Bobbie Sue. Jon Hamm was also there showing off some scruff while still looking dapper in his suit. Earth Day was on the 22nd and a party celebrating our natural resources was the perfect way to end a particularly environmental week.

Oh, the perks of being a celebrity. While we have to wait until April 19 for the Loomstate For Target launch, they get to have first dibs days before. But just because we weren't at the launch party doesn't mean we can't spy on the fun. Amy Smart, Kate Mara, Elizabeth Banks, Amber Valetta, Jaime King, and dozens more enjoyed an afternoon together in Venice, CA, socializing and shopping. Nicole, Paris, Some Maddens, Conrad, & Bilson Celebrate D&G

It was a starlet-studded night on Robertson Blvd at the new D&G flagship store opening last night. Nicole Richie may not be working on an album after all, but she worked the red carpet with Joel and he wasn't the only Madden in the house. Recent exes Paris Hilton and Benji Madden both came out for the party. Also newly single Ginnifer Goodwin was there, but it sounds like instead of having any girl talk, Paris wanted to reconnect with Benji. Rachel Bilson stood out in sequins while Lauren Conrad's hair looked perfect as usual. Last night's episode of The Hills treated us to a look behind Heidi and Spencer's wedding, but it's Lauren and Heidi's reunion on next week's finale that should be interesting.
