It seems like I've covered an exhaustive amount of iPhone cases from handcrafted to high-tech. But today I stumbled upon this cute case made specifically for Google Android phones.
The case is designed for a T-Mobile G1 phone, but can be custom-ordered for any Android phone.

So you were excited about the prospect of the G2, a second Android phone? Well, then how do you feel about 18 new Android phones? That's what Google exec Andy Rubin said yesterday at Google's I/O developer's conference — that around 18 Android phones should be on the market by the end of this year.

T-Mobile's G1 cell phone debuted this year as the first phone to run Google's smartphone OS, Android. Like any dynamic new smartphones, it begged comparison to the iPhone; and like the iPhone, it may be getting its second iteration less than a year after its birth.
Rumors are abounding that a "G2" phone may be in the works; additionally, there are whispers that GPS-device maker Garmin might be working on an Android phone as well.

I can't tell you the number of times I've been grateful to have my cell phone when standing in long line-ups. I'm not really a "line talker" — for fear someone is listening in on my private convo — but I do respond to emails, check the news, read tweets and sometimes play games. To make things easier on people like me who like to waste time with my cell phone, Google has just announced a new and improved iGoogle for the iPhone and Android powered devices.

T-Mobile is reporting that presales for the first phone to use Google's Android platform, the G1, are three times higher than what they expected, which is awesome.
I'm happy to see a smartphone enter into iPhone and BlackBerry territory so seamlessly, and the G1 is a great phone to inaugurate Android.
Interestingly, in my informal polls of friends, when I ask if they're interested in the G1, they say yes but that they'd really like to wait for a show-stopping phone to utilize Android before they switch cell phones.

As the anticipation for new cell phone platform Android grows, many cell phone makers are rumored to be the first one to introduce a phone with the Google operating system. T-Mobile is the latest, promising an Android phone by the end of 2008.
I certainly hope it comes sooner than that because I can't wait to try it out.

Just when we get swept off our feet and are falling head over heels in love with the iPhone 3G, the underdog comes in for the kill — the Android!
Google's Senior Director of Mobile Platforms, Andy Rubin, has already started showing off the Android's open source operating system to the media, and it looks glorious! One fabulous feature of the Android's OS is its ability to multitask, allowing multiple applications and programs to function at once.

Just like the one created for BlackBerrys and iPhones, Amazon has done it again with a sophisticated app for android handsets.
With this app, android owners will be able to check out products in 40 different categories, access their account and settings and see personalized shopping recommendations. Best of all, you'll be able to use your phone's camera to remember certain products (with our without snapping the barcode) and easily make one-click purchases.

It's a refreshing change to finally hear about apps that aren't Apple or iPhone related! One of the first Android apps I've read about and quite frankly - one that sounds right up my alley - is called ShopSavvy; a comparison-shopping application that was specifically built for Google's Android mobile phone platform. One of the winners in Google's Android Developer Challenge, Shop Savvy (formerly known as GoCart), will price products online and show you a rundown of prices so you can comparison shop!
