Fashion's Night Out Succeeds With Tons of Stars and Parties!

Manhattan was buzzing last night with all the excitement of Fashion's Night Out. It was an amazing way to help kick off New York Fashion Week across the city. Celebrities were out in full force to support the event, holding court at different stores while fans and press mingled, shopped, and spotted the well-dressed stars. Anna Wintour bounced between locations posing with her fashion-icon friends like Charlize Theron, Kate Hudson, and Sienna Miller. The Miller sisters were the guests of honor at the Intermix boutique, while Lindsay Lohan hit up Bloomingdales. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were surrounded by crazy security - maybe the most of anyone - for their appearance at Barney's. Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham was incredibly gracious despite the crowd at Bergdorf Goodman, posing with fans and pouting for cameras.

Nicky Hilton and Rachel Zoe were a vision together at the Bally party, while Sarah Jessica Parker laughed with Oscar de la Renta and Barbara Walters at Oscar's boutique. Charlize Theron signed copies of her Vogue September issue while Rihanna sauntered into events with all eyes on her daring black outfit, and Blake Lively held down the preppy front at Ralph Lauren. Fab's Fashion Night Out!

While Pop was chatting it up with Gwen Stefani, I was doing what Fashion's Night Out was supposed to do - shopping! And gallivanting and celeb-spotting. You ready for my FNO adventure? My fellow fashion junkie friend and I started at Bergdorf Goodman where many fashion festivities were going on. Along the way I saw Rachel Bilson and Hayden waiting for their car in front of their hotel - I said hi to her but don't think she remembered me from when I interviewed her at Brian Reyes's show last Fashion Week. Moving on, as expected, there was a line to get into the department store, and it was a madhouse inside. I spotted jewelry designer Philip Crangi on the way in; it's hard to miss him, he looks like a pirate. We went straight to the shoe department where we fawned over Balmain boots, Giuseppe Zanotti lovers, awesome Alaia's, and Chanel flats. We quickly decided to leave the Bergdorf madness, but stopped at the M.C.L jewelry counter and said hi to model cutie Karlie Kloss on the way out.

We dashed down to Soho - my main goal of the night was the Intermix party where Sienna and Savannah Miller were hosting. The streets were alive with fashion! I had to pop into J.Crew (conveniently located across the street from Intermix) where I bought a super-cute long gold jeweled mushroom pendant.

Intermix was the place to be, with an ultra-fashion-y crowd and cool '80s tunes. Someone asked us if it was true Rihanna was supposed to come and before I knew it flashes were frenzied and there she was. We were actually in line for the bathroom when this happened and her and her posse came right towards us hence my super-close picture of her. She was incognito chic in a black wraparound-hooded dress and insane Grace Jones-esque shades and crimson lips. She posed for pics with a subtle smile on her face, the crowd was mesmerized. What a cool surprise! But where's Sienna?

There she is, sis in tow. But Sienna's hosting wasn't nearly as impressive as Rihanna's - the Millers sisters were outtie, they didn't even stay for champagne. Wha? We had a dinner date at Indochine at 11p.m., but along the way my friend bought a pair of fly boots from Steven Steve Madden and I scored a glam rockin' purple sequin blazer from Topshop. They aren't online, so I can't show you, but they're dope and we did our economy-stimulating part of the evening. Done and done.

Cruising into Indochine was unreal. Iman was in the first booth, post-bartending at Barneys Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were in the next, and models Lily Donaldson and Daria (Daria!) Werbowy were smoking cigarettes another booth away. Can you say awesome? We met up with fellow bloggers Faran from Nylon and Britt from Fashionista and gobbled up wonderful exotic fare. At one point I was in the bathroom with Iman and totally froze - her beauty is unreal. I headed home and had sweet dreams of fashion - goodnight Fashion's Night Out!

Nina Gets Welcomed to Marie Claire With Her Celeb Friends

A few of Fashion Week's devotees took a break from the runways in New York to celebrate Nina Garcia's new position as Marie Clarie's Fashion Director last night. Her friend and fellow Project Runway judge Heidi Klum was right by her side while the rest of us were watching last night's episode. Lindsay Lohan celebrated her latest magazine cover doing double duty with the Olsen twins - all three ladies stopped by both this and the Stand Up For a Cure Event. Nina must be excited about her job and we're interested to see if it will affect the new Project Runway come January.

New York Fashion Week Celebrity Madness!

This weekend was busy between TIFF, VMAs and Stand Up 2 Cancer, but many celebs still found time to sit front row at their favorite designers shows to start picking out their new wardrobe and red carpet picks. John Legend and Mary-Kate sat front row at Rock and Republic, while Eva Longoria and Jennifer Lopez sat a seat away from one another in the front row of Diane Von Furstenberg where sexy sixties style beauty looks were strutting down the catwalk. Lindsay Lohan and Samantha were out to enjoy the Ronson family affair that included cool-girl chic beauty looks while Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci smiled big at Donna Karan.

Nicole Richie was also at DK looking adorable as she posed with the designer after the show. At the DVF show yellow was the hot color, which Rosario Dawson glowed in as well as Leighton Meester who was sharing the love with her also yellow wearing co-star Jessica Szohr. Leighton was everywhere during Fashion Week but looked especially beautiful in pink at the Julie Haus show. Ellen Pompeo sat front row at Y-3 and of course who can resist a little Anderson Cooper who also attended DVF (supposedly the most star studded show so far). Finally, Charlize was already spotted wearing red carpet attire to Fashion Rocks on Friday from the Rag and Bone's show earlier that day. Must be nice!

MK, Rihanna and Jessica Enjoy Kanye's FIRST Passion in Paris

Paris Fashion Week went out with a bang with this weekend's star studded front rows galore. Jessica Alba covered up her baby bump standing next to a much taller Rihanna to check out Fendi. You guys seemed pretty evenly split as to whether Amy Winehouse deserved the $1 million paycheck to perform for the runway show, but at least she showed up. Mary-Kate Olsen was out without her twinsie but still showed off that, um, quirky fashion sense in an aggressive studded leather jacket. Kanye and his fiancée Alexis were just there to have a good time and made sure to get right to his blog to talk about how fashion will always be his first love. So much for that rap thing.

Olsens and Kanye Love Themselves Some Chanel

Paris Fashion Week rolls on and Karl Lagerfeld didn't go with understated to show off the new collection for Chanel - check out the big show here. Some of his favorite little celebrity munchkins were out to see the show, like the Olsens who wore those Willy Wonka sunglasses and got a big hug from Karl. Kanye's puffy vest and Alexis also came out for the show as did Rihanna fresh from her Ireland show. Leave it to Chanel to bring out the big names.

Fashion Week Kicks Into Full Gear

On Friday we shared the Red Dress runway show that kicked off Fall Fashion Week 2008 and since then there has been star studded shows all weekend long. Celebs like Ashley Olsen, Mandy Moore, Ellen Pompeo, and Gisele Bundchen were sitting in the front row of DVF, Miss Sixty, Baby Phat, and more. Fab and Bella are in NYC covering the runway shows and backstage beauty. They said that Ellen and Chris were giggling and looking every bit like loving newlyweds while Anne Hathaway was so impressed with Erin Fetherston's show that she was the first one to start clapping. The most star studded shows so far were DVF and Herve Leger. The starlets went all out in their hot tight numbers for Herve - Hello Mandy and Sophia! Who do you think is most fab?

New mom Milla looked gorgeous in the front row at Miss Sixty, but she also had her own show to attend to as well. Bella got backstage to learn all about the makeup, which in this rare case, the models did themselves. Gisele got real goofy at Rag and Bone pre-Tom Brady busted bowl.
