I had one severe case of dry, peeling skin, and I had it bad. My chin and mouth area were flakier than both Heidi and Spencer Pratt combined. I needed one mighty fine exfoliator, and I needed it stat.

I don't know about you, but I don't like my moisturizers to be overly scented. And that's one of the reasons why reader Stef42678 thinks Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion with SPF 15 ($10) is a great moisturizer. Take it away, Stef:
I really love using this moisturizer when I have dry and cracked skin because it is instant relief.

While there are plenty of great skin care options available for gals with sensitive skin, what about the occasional and pesky flare-up of redness that all skin types can relate to, such as the kind that occurs from an unexpected pimple, or a nose rubbed raw from a winter cold? In the past I've resorted to applying everything from Neosporin to thick, goopy hand cream on my poor nose, or even Visine on a pimple. Neither really worked.

Aveeno Active Naturals Continuous Radiance Moisturizing Lotion ($11.19) came out a couple of months ago, and I finally got around to trying it over the weekend. What attracted me to the product was the cool little device on the top, which allows you to customize your self-tanning color. Also, it has a gradual color-enhancer feature so that you build your tan up over a couple of days, as opposed to applying one deep shot of unnatural looking color.

When it comes to shaving my legs, I tend to switch between high-end shaving potions and drugstore brands, since the latter are just easier to buy on short notice. But while Gillette Satin Care doesn't totally suck, the Walgreen's offering does, and in general, drugstore brands don't give me the silky-smooth shave I want.
The exception, I've just discovered, is Aveeno Positively Smooth Shaving Gel ($3.99).
