In this vid, a rescued baby porcupine (called a porcupet!) eats a banana. Cute enough. But its squeaks-which turn out to be hiccups-will slay you. You wanna cuddle with it, but I bet it would hurt. (His mother died after being hit by a car, and after being rehabilitated, Squeakers here-that's what I call him- is now living at a nature center in northern Minnesota.) Thanks, Neatorama!

Four Cute Tasmanian Devil Babies Born at the Taronga Zoo!

These lil babes don't look much like Taz twinsies, but they are the real Tasmanian Devil deals! As the world's largest meat-eating marsupials, the famed cartoon character was inspired by the actual animals' ravenous appetites.

The babes are getting health checks, paternity tests and microchipped at Sydney's Taronga Zoo in hopes of protecting and checking up on this endangered species in the wild. The joeys look rather expressive (and so squirmy!) - what handfuls!

Sara Gets a Gentle Giraffe-y Nudge

Born on Oct. 26, Sara enjoys long walks in her Hanover zoo enclosure with mom, Juji. The twosome are Rothschild Giraffes, the second most endangered giraffe subspecies with only a few hundred known members all over the world. Three little tigers sitting on a tree, s-t-a-r-i-n-g. Born Aug. 1 at a zoo in Nuremberg, Germany, the Siberian babes are lined up for picture time. From left to right we have the Class Clown, Homecoming Queen, and, umm, Best Dressed?! Oh, who am I kidding they all have the same ensembles.
