The BAFTA Awards: The Winners

Though they were understandably overshadowed by the Grammys, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts also held its annual awards ceremony on Sunday, in London. The reason we're paying attention, of course, is to get even more Oscar buzz. In case you weren't sure already, both Helen Mirren's and Forest Whitaker's chances are looking pretty sweet right now. Here's a list of who and what won.

2009 BAFTA TV Awards: Best Dressed

BAFTA TV and TV Craft Nominees Enjoy a Knees Up

Nominees for the BAFTA Television Awards and BAFTA Television Craft Awards gathered at London's Landmark Hotel yesterday for a celebratory reception. Hosts for each of the up-coming ceremonies Graham Norton (TV Awards) and Claudia Winkleman (TV Craft Awards) looked like they were having a great time together, and even matched in their all-black outfits. Some of the Skins cast were also at the reception, celebrating the show's five Television Craft Awards nominations and Best Drama Series nomination at the Television Awards. Fingers crossed guys!

The winners of the BAFTA Television Awards will be announced at the Palladium on Sunday 20 April, while the BAFTA Television Craft Awards winners will be announced at the Dorchester Hotel ceremony on Sunday 11 May.
