NARS's 15X15 soiree, hosted by Marc Jacobs and Daphne Guinness, brought out a bevy of beautiful models to NYC. While Daphne went galactic, the PYTs opted for something sexier. Julie Henderson looked sweet in a strapless pink print frock; Selita wowed in purple Balmain; Anja emoted sultry pirate power; Heather opted for Balmain's spiky studs; and Lisa Marie Smith took the avant-garde route. Most stars have a signature style. You know, when you look at an item and automatically think of a specific person. That's what happened when I saw this military-style jacket - the first thing that popped into my head was, I can totally see it on Beyonce. It reminded me of her Alexander McQueen velvet band vest. These rad, red Balmain suede booties are helping me battle my post-Halloween depression. Thank goodness for Balmain, right? The rest of my November picks are either cozy or cozy chic; it's finally time to stow my sandals and lightweight jackets and reunite with my bodacious boots and tights. I admit: I missed them. Furry hats, cool jewels, and Sienna Miller-inspired moccasin boots also made the want list.

Alessandra won for most Fab at the Los Premios MTV Awards last week, but let's see if she can beat a fellow Victoria Secret vixen in this cut-out lace Balmain LBD. You have to have a bod for sin to pull this mini-mini dress off, and both gals definitely have that. Alessandra dripped some ice from her wrist and ears, while Selita wore minimal jewels. Sexy black sandals and teeny black clutches were chosen by both, but who wore Balmain better?

Would You Wear Sequined Jeans?

Christophe Decarnin presented his Balmain Spring line on Thursday as part of Paris Fashion Week. The iconic design house continued with it's rock chick styling with barely there hot pants, plunging necklines, plenty of metallics and leather blazers.

Amongst the items on display were sequined jeans which are sure to be copied and reproduced across the globe. They were given a grungey edge with a ripped t-shirt and military shirt. Will you be wearing sequined jeans next Spring?

If you know nouveau Balmain, you're familiar with its luxe, rocker aesthetic, and even more ferocious collection of footwear. Thanks to Balmain’s Christophe Decarnin, the Paris fashion house will get even bigger - if that's even possible – with recent collaborations. Balmain took its three-year relationship with Giuseppe Zanottti and signed an official women’s footwear license with the shoe designer. New to come is an upcoming capsule collab with eyewear expert Oliver Peoples, along with the possibility of a men's shoe line. “He is the master of arts, deus ex machina,” said Balmain's chief executive, Hivelin.

Balmain is said to have around 20 licenses all over the world, including scarves, small leather goods, and ties. In addition, its flagship boutique in Paris will undergo a complete art deco-inspired renovation next month, featuring chimneys transplanted from chateaus around France and authentic Louis XIV or XV parquet flooring – wow. Get ready for total, utter Balmania!!!

Sachastar has dreams of NYFW. She's not attending the shows, but that's not going to stop her from creating a fabulous outfit for the festivities. Her outfit radiates in-your-face style via metallic woven shoes (so rad), a cobalt blue-sequin skirt, cropped tee, and spunky accessories. I would totally rock these pieces at a Balmain or Alexander Wang fashion show - thanks!
