Newsflash: Batman was not only a degrading husband, but a sexist employer to boot. In the following PSA for the Federal Equal Pay Law, Batgirl argues that she's underpaid and deserves to earn the same wages as Robin. Although Batgirl's timing is a bit manipulative - a ticking bomb is about to blow Batman a new one and she's his only hope for escape - girlfriend's request is warranted. But the big boss thinks she's joking. To which, I say, let the Batdouche blow.

Holy Manhole! "In the name of decent citizens everywhere," stop and watch the dynamic duo fight crime and take time to unrealistically abide by street safety rules. You'd think their stalling would work against them, but thanks to the convenient manhole located smack in the middle of street, the Joker ain't the last one laughing and the crime fighting goody-goodies effortlessly save the day! Bwahahahaha!

Police: Ending crime, one costume at a time

Forget uniforms, badges and handcuffs, because a new wave of police patrol is hitting the streets. Police officers in England are dressing up as their favorite action heroes to better battle the bad guys around town. Sgt. Tony Smith and Police Chief Mike Holman recently dressed up as Batman and Robin in an elaborate, but successful, sting operation to bust a few drug offenders. The Joker didn't make a public appearance, but I'm afraid that two police officers dressed in tights is joke enough.

Kylie and Fergie Get Glamorous For Halloween

Kylie Minogue and Fergie entered into the spirit of Halloween at Club 57 in New York at the weekend and got dressed up just like lots of other stars in the US and the UK. Fergie chose Egyptian style as Cleopatra, Marc Jacobs was Robin to his friend's Batman, while Kylie and her man Andres Velencoso went as a couple of mime artists! The pals looked like they were having a fine time, although much has been made of Josh Duhamel's absence, even though his rep has denied rumours he cheated on Fergie with a stripper. Kylie has reason to celebrate this week, as her Agent Provocateur ad, where she rides a bucking bronco wearing lingerie, has been named the best ever celebrity viral ad: check it out after the jump.

Batman: Good Crime-Fighter, Bad Husband

This appeared in a 1959 Batman comic titled, "The Marriage of Batman and Batwoman." Once Bruce Wayne disclosed his superhero secret to his new wife, she wanted in on the action. I sure hope the scene above is depicting our newlyweds in the act of role-playing with Batman posing as The Joker for a change. Cuz his blatant sexism is villainous and downright detestable. If not, Kathy needs to take off like a Batmobile outta hell and annul this union before it's too late. For more on the story, click here.

Back in the day, this was considered "action-packed" television? Awkward and uncomfortably staged is more like it. And if this "Siamese Human Knot" is Batman's idea of torture, then what kind of sheltered "superhero" are we following here? Although I do love the set design. They should have called this episode, "Batman and the multi-colored moving boxes." Now that would have been bad ass.

Which Superfly Makeup Do You Like Best on Solange Knowles?

Last night in Texas, singer Solange Knowles performed wearing a silver streak of makeup between her eyes. The look kind of reminded me of Batgirl (in Batman and Robin) mixed with a twinge of future-esque style. Solange has been pushing the envelope with her makeup onstage sporting orange eye shadow and blue and green painted face makeup just a few weeks prior. Kudos to her for taking so much risk and I love how it really sets her apart from her more conservative sister Beyoncè. Out of these three different looks, which is your favourite?

London Fashion Week, Spring 2008: Luella

When Luella Bartley came back to London earlier this week after showing the past few seasons in New York, she wasn't the only one to make a return. Batman also made an appearance. Trousers with Batman motifs, old school Batman and Robin masks, and mini capes all adorned models on the Luella runway.

The collection was inspired by Thora Birch's geeky shabby chic character in Ghost World - the second collection in a row where Luella has tossed around the geek chic theme. And as geeky as Luella tries to be, she always manages to churn out oodles of covetable feminine dresses - dresses that cool girls want to wear. Whenever I see her new collection, all I can think is: "I want to be a Luella girl." And as long as she incites that kind of reaction, she is good to go.
