If you're like me and cringe at the idea of tan lines, I suggest you join the bandeau babe club. True, you can't frolic through the waves in one of these — if you must, I suggest getting one with a removable halter strap — but also true, this style suit is retro active. Many celebs have been favoring the cool strapless vibe of a bandeau, see Drew and her beau giggling in the waves.

- Making a mad dash to find a public restroom with your in-the-process-of-potty-training tot and making it just in time!

If mama likes piña coladas, she'll love a nursery decked in sand, sails and shells. Beach babes will feel right at home on a shaggy rug to tickle their tiny toes. Set up a tent-like cabana to make wee ones feel like they're taking a break from the sunshine.

Catherine McNeil never looked so good. Maybe it's because she's modeling Seafolly's Summer delights in her native Australia. Maybe it's the sharp-cut suits and breezy cover ups.

In foreign countries babies strip down to their diapers or bare bums and tear across the beach enjoying the sunshine, water and freedom from clothing. Girls and women go topless and wade in the surf wearing just bottoms and no one bats an eye or does a double take. But in America, most people keep themselves and their kids — even wee babes — covered with a pair of swim trunks or a bathing suit.
