There are so many fresh things about Foam magazine, where to begin? Based out of San Clemente, CA, the magazine is brimming with fashion, the ocean, art, and music. It's inspiration information for the beach-loving fashion art hound. It's hard to find, but take a flip through the digital version for an idea. The mag's website is cool, too. I particularly find its fashion and surf musings interesting; getting to know the latest surfer babes and their mantras is totally motivating. A flippy mag focused on fashion and surfing? Why didn't I think of that?

If you're like me and cringe at the idea of tan lines, I suggest you join the bandeau babe club. True, you can't frolic through the waves in one of these - if you must, I suggest getting one with a removable halter strap - but also true, this style suit is retro active. Many celebs have been favoring the cool strapless vibe of a bandeau, see Drew and her beau giggling in the waves. Drew, who is a member of the club, proves the bandeau to be bodacious.

When most women envision a life with kids, they see the miracles, the milestones, and even the inevitable, but they don't know that one day they will be stunned by the excitement they feel over the most minuscule of things. Mundane tasks or seemingly expected occurrences can leave a mama beaming with pride or relief, or jumping for joy. Check out some of mine and add your own!

Leaving the supermarket with six bags of groceries, a flat of water, and two smiling children on a Saturday afternoon (thank you Trader Joe's shoppers-in-training carts!).
Making a mad dash to find a public restroom with your in-the-process-of-potty-training tot and making it just in time!

Going out to dinner as a family and enjoying uninterrupted conversation with your children. You did not have to say, "please sit down" once or shuffle through your purse for a toy to occupy your bored babe.
Seeing sand being thrown across the park and being told by the other mother that her kiddo was the culprit and your wild child was actually playing nice.
Pulling into the driveway and enjoying 10 minutes of silence after a sun-drenched day at the beach with your kids, who are exhausted and sleeping soundly in the backseat.
After an arduous and competitive application process, getting a voicemail that says your child's been accepted to kindergarten!

In foreign countries babies strip down to their diapers or bare bums and tear across the beach enjoying the sunshine, water and freedom from clothing. Girls and women go topless and wade in the surf wearing just bottoms and no one bats an eye or does a double take. But in America, most people keep themselves and their kids - even wee babes - covered with a pair of swim trunks or a bathing suit. Does it bother you when youngsters soak up warm weather in just their birthday suits?
