Lovely Ladies of Hollywood Come Out For a Pre-Emmys Party

The Emmys are this Sunday in LA, but that's not stopping the nominees - and even those who aren't up for awards - from starting the celebrations. Entertainment Weekly linked up with the Women in Film organization to host a bash last night at the Sunset Marquis hotel with Audrina Patridge, AnnaLynne McCord, and former Twilighter Rachelle LeFevre turning out for the red carpet. Newly pregnant Jenna Elfman of Accidentally on Purpose struck a pose alongside Jennie Garth, whose husband Peter has been spending his time up in Vancouver working out with Kellan Lutz. Before the big ceremony this weekend, make sure to fill out Buzz's Emmy ballot and enter to win a $1,000 gift certificate to Best Buy!

Michelle, Rachel, and Mindy Glam Up NBC's TCA Party

NBC and Bravo had their chance to play party host in Pasadena last night for the TCAs. Michelle Trachtenberg could only stay for a second before heading to her mom's birthday party, but she still dished even more on Gossip Girl - check out the exclusive interview in today's PopSugar Rush! Most of the cast of The Office came out to support their show, and Mindy Kaling even gave Buzz the scoop on the upcoming Jim and Pam wedding! Rachel Zoe and her husband also posed on the red carpet as they gear up for season two of Rachel's show and the launch of her newsletter. First Look: Southland

One of the Spring shows many of you said you'd check out is Southland, a new police drama on NBC that will take over ER's time slot when that show retires in April. The show actually shares some producers with ER; could it be NBC's next long-running Thursday drama?

Southland centers on a group of LAPD cops, notably The OC's Benjamin McKenzie as rookie Ben Sherman. Sherman's taken under the wing of a seasoned officer, John Cooper (Michael Cudlitz), and immediately starts to question whether he really has what it takes to be an LA cop. Other cast members include Regina King as Detective Lydia Adams, Tom Everett Scott as Detective Russell Clarke, and Kevin Alejandro as Detective Nate Moretta.

From the promos, Southland strikes me a little as cop-show-by-the-numbers, but I'm hoping the storylines and characters reveal more depth when the series premieres April 9. Are you curious to see how this one turns out? To watch a couple of promos, just read more.

Liv and Edward Make For an Incredible Premiere

The Incredible Hulk may be about a superhero with a bad temper, but the stars of the movie were all about the smiles out on the green carpet at the Hollywood premiere last night. Lovely Liv kept up her streak of looking fab in her little blue dress, while Ed Norton just looked happy to have her on his arm. We can't wait to see those two on screen together, especially since they have nothing but love for each other in real life, too. When asked how it was to work with Liv, Ed said, "Oh she's the best, she's the anti-Hulk, she never gets angry." Will & Tom's Legendary Promotion Still Going

Tom Cruise and Will Smith continued to bond across the country at the I Am Legend premiere in NYC. This time around Jada joined in on the fun with the rest of the family. Love her in green but she's wowed me more before. I think it's pretty sweet how the Cruises support their friends so much. Between Spice Girls concerts to events like this, Tom and Katie always seem to be by their sides yet somehow they are in dead last on the BFF poll of 2007. My guess is Tom's scary Scientology beliefs have scared many of you off but since his friends have declared he is not recruiting them maybe we should just realize they have Legend - wait for it - ary relationships.

I Want This Wardrobe: The O.C., Season 3

Season Three of The O.C. was the pinnacle for the show. Marissa gets kicked out of school for her shooting incident from Season Two, she then eventually goes off the deep end and turns to drugs & alcohol and relations with bad boy, Volchok. Kristin is recovering from her bouts with the bottle while Julie falls in love with Summer's dad - go figure. Adorable little blondie Anna & slightly annoying, but somewhat endearing, Taylor add comic relief. We re-meet Marissa's quickly grown up sassy little sis, Kaitlin. Also, Summer's style really evolves and she shows us her full beauty potential. All of this leading up to the foursome graduating, all from Harbor (yay!). Then, just when we thought they were home free and off to college, Marissa meets the ultimate doom and dies in a car accident. I for one, was totally crushed. On to the clothes, for which there were many cute ones this season!

Do You Still Follow TV Shows When They Switch Networks?

It's official: Southland is saved! TNT issued a press release this morning announcing that the cable network is resuscitating the cancelled NBC cop drama starting in January.

While this is obviously good news for Benjamin McKenzie fans, I'm still approaching it with moderate skepticism. The series may be alive and kicking, but if the numbers from other swapped shows are any indication, Southland may be in for a struggle. Take, Project Runway: After moving from Bravo to Lifetime, it took off like ratings gangbusters, but has since faced a decline. Or there's my favorite old-school example: Roswell. It used to air on the WB (in its pre-CW days), but after it failed there, it got bounced around to UPN - where it was cancelled again.

Obviously some viewers drop off when a show changes channels, but what about you - do you still follow TV shows when they go under a new network? Or do you lose interest?

Adam Brody Laughs His Way Through Lunch

Adam Brody joined two friends on Tuesday for lunch at Real Food Daily in LA. We haven't seen much of Adam since he finished work on Jennifer's Body, but we'll get to view the finished product when it hits screens in September. It's been a bumpy ride for him professionally since The OC went off the air, but with his former costar Benjamin McKenzie back on TV and Mischa Barton headed that way too it just might be time for Adam's own comeback.

The Stars Go Green Before the Oscars

The celebrities are flocking to LA before a party-filled Oscar weekend including last night's Global Green bash. Earlier, Jake Gyllenhaal planted trees to kick off the initiative to help green schools. Gavin Rossdale performed some of his hits, including "Glycerine," while Gwen Stefani watched from the audience. He talked about bringing Kingston on tour saying, "I take Kingston for as long as he wants, so I try to drum that into him: 'Are you ready to go on tour? Are you ready to go on tour?' It's going to be fun!" Later Sheryl Crow brought Gavin back on stage to sing with her as well. Also in the audience was eco-loving Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Bosworth, and Neil Patrick Harris among others. The weekend is just starting to heat up, so don't forget to fill out your ballot before Sunday as we enjoy all the pre-Oscar celebrations.
