The sixth season of Project Runway, punctuated by a network change and a long lawsuit, wrapped up this week, and the winner was finally announced. And I really mean finally - the collections were actually shown way back in February.

Last week, the majority of you predicted that Carol Hannah would take home the honors. Of course, she didn't win, though I did love her collection. It was Irina and her urban lady-warrior collection that took home the title in the end. Althea was complimented for her sportswear, Carol Hannah wowed with beautiful draping, but neither bested Irina.

Do you agree with the judges and Irina's win, or do you think it should have been Carol Hannah or Althea?

VH1 Divas: Miley Calls Kanye Disrespectful, True Blood's Sam Takes on Twilight's Jacob, and Paula Channels Ellen!

The star-studded VH1 Divas kicked off last night at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and new diva-inductees like Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Miley Cyrus, and Kelly Clarkson walked the red carpet in their glamorous gowns. Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port looked gorgeous and sparkly, and we'll have more on LC's possible LA Candy movie deal later. Miley weighed in on the Taylor/Kanye incident, calling him out as disrespectful. Kelly also had some things to say about it as well as the Paula/Ellen change on American Idol. Sam Trammell, who plays Sam Merlotte on True Blood, also told us he thinks his shape-shifter character could take on Taylor Lautner's Jacob - check out the interviews below!

Paula Abdul opened the night with a surprise performance and jokingly introduced the live show saying "I'm Paula Abdul and this is NOT American Idol." Later in the night she came out dressed as Ellen DeGeneres, dancing across the stage before saying "All kidding aside - [I have] nothing but love for Ellen, and I wish you the best of luck and congratulations on your new gig." There were many performances and duets to enjoy, like Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder, as well as solos by all the divas like Jordin Sparks. Miley on Taylor/Kanye VMA incident: "I think it's just disrespectful so I think the best thing is - I probably would have done what [Taylor] did and just walk away from it because she looks better than he does."
Sam on Sam Merlotte vs. Jacob Black: "Is he tall? I think he's really tall . . . Oh is that just in the movie? I could probably take him because I could just turn into some huge animal and just take him. Yeah, I could just turn into a big bull and take him."
Kelly on whether she has words of encouragement for Taylor Swift: "I don't think she needs any. She handled it really well and she's just a really sweet girl. I love Taylor and she knows I do. I keep asking her to write me some songs, I love her writing. The whole situation in general was the straw that broke the camel's back. Not only that situation. Unfortunately Kanye was the straw that broke the camel's back. But there's a lot of crappy things that go on in the industry and it's just not right. This is supposed to be fun. We're not scientists, we're not doing anything mind-blowing. We should all be having fun and complimenting each other and lifting each other up. I don't get it."
Kelly on taking stage with Paula, and Paula leaving Idol: "I'm used to that! We've been doing off and on for seven years; we all end up at the same shows. So I'm so used to seeing her everywhere. I don't even know enough about [Paula leaving Idol] but I think she's probably ready. I mean they've done like nine seasons. It's pretty cool she's going off and doing something on her own and right after it she's hosting VH1 Divas. Oh my God, she's performing and I saw rehearsals and it's insane. I'm like a 12-year-old again and singing 'Straight Up.' We're all dying backstage."

Do Tell: What's the Best Compliment You've Received?

We can be very critical of ourselves, ladies. And often we're quick to deflect a compliment, without letting it really sink in, without really feeling it sometimes. Are we worried we'll be perceived as conceited or self-centered? I keep wanting to really connect with compliments when I receive them, and I want to connect with the generosity of the person who's offered one! Recognition can be emotionally complicated for some of us, but it's also an important experience to let in.

While Victoria Flies David Backs England's World Cup Bid

Victoria Beckham flew from Heathrow to Los Angeles yesterday, while David was at Wembley Stadium alongside Gordon Brown, Wayne Rooney and Gary Lineker supporting England's bid to host the World Cup in 2018. The Beckhams have made quite the impression on Paris Hilton, who said: "I am going to ask Victoria and David to be godparents to my children... I'm going to name my kids David and Victoria because she is so hot and I want kids as beautiful as her." Victoria's also received a back handed compliment from Miley Cyrus, who says she wants to be a "soccer mom" just like Victoria. Heh. Meanwhile, David spoke about the World Cup bid:

"It would be up there with winning (trophies) and the success I've had in my career because to be part of a successful bid, like I was with the Olympics, would be a huge honor. I've played with some of the biggest and best (players) in the world and all they talk about is the passion and atmosphere that is shown at England games and games against teams from England. We, as a country, are always ready for big competitions. If someone was to say next week we'll stage a tournament in England, I don't think there are many other countries who would be ready to facilitate that."

Danny: "The Euros Think That Us Americans Are Not Educated"

I have something to confess: I was glad to see Danny go. With his New York accent and oddly shaved beard, the latest Top Chef contestant kicked to the curb was not my favorite. Still, I spoke with the football-loving, European-hater over the phone yesterday. To find out what he had to say about his experience, read more.

On participating in Top Chef: To make it as far as I did was such an accomplishment. It's like I was in the Super Bowl, but I didn't win.

On the losing dish and his team: During the planning stages we were all very confident. Gene was confident. It was his idea, but he failed to tell the ladies how to eat the dish. I really didn't mess with Carla's salad. It was a last component that we had actually talked about. I thought it would be a nice accompaniment to the dish I made.

On Stefan and Fabio: The Euros think that us Americans are not educated and that we are not up to speed with them. That was a trait in them that I didn't like. They are very talented and good chefs. May the best man win.

On who will win: Hosea is a very, very talented chef. He is very knowledgeable around the kitchen.

On the judges: I thought the judges were very nice. The one thing I was really disappointed about was that Tom didn't have anything nice to say about my food. Throughout the whole, Tom - I really respect him - had nothing nice to say. He had no positive compliment towards me. It's really upsetting, in a way I failed. I'm just really upset that he found negatives in all my positives.

Heidi Klum Takes Care of Some Britney Business

Heidi did her best Blue Steel at an autograph signing session for Victoria's Secret before heading to the airport yesterday. She and the rest of the angels have been working overtime for the holidays, including the sexy runway show we got to watch last night. Heidi's been busy on her trip to NYC, but VS isn't the only project on her mind. She and Britney shared hugs and compliments at Britney's 27th birthday bash, and now there are a whispers that Heidi's trying to get Britney as a guest on a Project Runway. Britney may not be Hollywood's biggest fashionista, but seeing the pop star sitting on the judges' side of the runway would definitely be a reason to tune in.

Fab Blab: Britney Gets a Karl Lagerfeld Seal of Approval

Last night the Bambi Awards took place in Germany bringing together European celebrities alongside the likes of Pink, Britney Spears and Leona Lewis. There was also an unusual meeting between Karl Lagerfeld and Britney as he presented her with the Best International Popstar award.

Amazingly, it seems that Karl is enamored with the popstar as he tells her,
"I'd admire you not only for your art but also for your energy. You're coming back not only as a phoenix but as a bird of paradise." Whilst he is complimenting her Britney appears quite amused and I can't help but wonder if she either a), can't understand him or b), is trying to figure out who he is! Either way, I hope we see Britney in the front row at Chanel's A/W 09 show.

Angelina Wants to Work Less While Brad Gets Mad

In another week of the never-ending saga, Brad Pitt is rumored to be unhappy about Jennifer Aniston's Vogue interview. Despite the fact that she complimented him a ton, he supposedly still called her upset about the Angelina comments assuming that Jen had "moved on." Angelina, for her part, has stayed out of things as she continues to promote Changeling. She recently sat down with the BBC to chat about her kids and wanting to work less. Here's more:

On working less: "I don't plan to keep acting very long. I'm ready to do a few things now and fade away and get ready to be a grandma one day. I'm not so worried that I want to keep this pace up and try to be something and be a celebrity."
On making the decision to stop working: "I don't think I'll ever say that I'm never ever going to work, because maybe there's that interesting project where I'll feel creative, but certainly I think now I haven't worked for a year - I'll work for a few months in February. I won't work again probably for another year, so maybe it'll be once a year and then maybe it'll be once every three years."
On being with her kids: "I like being home a lot. First and foremost, I have a lot of children, and I need to make sure they're growing right and they've got us there for them."

Manchester in Fashion Weekend: Hair Trends

While my partner in crime was busy with fashion, at Manchester Fashion Weekend, I managed to sneak backstage to get the lowdown on some of the fantastic hair looks. Joshua Robinson from Headmasters was the hair maestro behind the modern messy styles and he shared his inspiration for the shows.

How do the hair styles work with the 5 quite different looks?
To be honest, we thought we were going to have to change the looks a couple of times but we found that hair up has worked with every single one of them.
What's your overall theme?
The theme this season is shabby chic. Basically it’s very Gucci, very Prada. Makeup wise it’s been all about smoky eyes and nude lips and we’ve basically tried to make the hair compliment that.
There's a lot of up dos, how have you made these modern?
We've been incorporating fish tails into the up dos to keep the look textured, which is the new way of plaiting. It looks as if the models have gone clubbing the night before and woken up with messy hair. Basically what we’re doing today is letting people watch the show and then they’re coming down stairs and we’re showing them how to recreate the looks they’ve just seen.
Any tips for re-creating this look at home?
Start off with volumiser from technique from L’Oreal. For the catwalk we sprayed about four times more than you'd usually use to make it really messy. Just start on dry hair and keep overloading it with product. Dry it in and overload it again so you start to get a very dirty texture.
Does this work best on day-old, slightly dirty hair?
Yes but you can create that look with products. Once the hair is full of product, just comb through slightly, obviously not taking too much of the kink and messiness out. Try and scrunch the hair at the same time as combing to keep the volume in. The hair should look quite tatty and disheveled.
