It seems like not too long ago that Angelina Jolie was playing with baby Maddox in a NYC park, but today her little guy is turning 8 years old. A lot has changed since she adopted him back in 2002, with Brad becoming his father and the arrival of his five brothers and sisters. Call it the Internets, the Interwebs, the series of tubes; yep, the Internet has gone through many lovable nicknames as the years have gone by, and today we're calling it the Birthday Boy (or girl! or whatever)!
The Internet was "born" on October 29, 1969, when two computers on a college campus connected; information, music, and celebrity sex tape distribution would never be the same again.

My brothers both married in the past three years, and by coincidence, their wives share the same birthday. Mine happens to be seven days later. My immediate and extended family has already fallen into the habit of celebrating all three of our birthdays together, and I don't like it.

Birthdays can be very public or very personal, depending on how you feel about them. Sure, there is potential for parties, surprises, and presents, but some people would prefer to celebrate silently without being the center of attention.
