"Boom Boom Pow" is the first single from the band's upcoming fifth studio album The E.N.D., which is currently due to be released in June. The MuchMusic Video Awards hit Toronto last night with a star-studded red carpet and a stage scattered with big performances. Taylor Lautner represented for the New Moon cast, smiling big and waving to the screaming adoring fans. Audrina Patridge sexed it up as usual in her LBD, though somewhere along the line she managed to piss off someone who apparently took Brody Jenner’s phone and called her a nasty name on his twitter.

2009 MTV EMA Nominations and Performers Announced!
Having already given us the shortlist for the Best UK & Ireland New Act category, MTV has now announced the full list of nominations for the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards. Tokio Hotel, Green Day and Leona Lewis are all confirmed to perform at the ceremony in Berlin on 5 November too. Lady GaGa and Kings of Leon lead the pack with five nominations each, while several of our British and Irish stars have nominations, including Robbie Williams, Coldplay, U2, La Roux, Pixie Lott, Little Boots and Leona Lewis.
2009 Teen Choice Awards: Arrivals and Winners!
The 2009 Teen Choice Awards took place yesterday in LA, with all the stars of the past year's charts, movies and TV shows turning up to be awarded by teens. The show is yet to air in both the US and UK, but Twilight took home a whole host of awards (check out the winners list under the cut for spoilers) as did Gossip Girl and the Jonas Brothers. Kristen Stewart looked like she was taking tips from Robert Pattinson with her big hair, and wore a seriously cool spiky skirt, while Leighton looked sexy in stripes!
Do Tell: What Song Would You Make Up Wild Lyrics To?
There are some songs that get so much radio play, you can practically memorize the lyrics in no time like the Black Eyed Peas's catchy Boom Boom Pow. With such a funny concept, it's easy to satirize — my Twitter pals, cookieandputter sing:

Exclusive! Will.i.am on the Possibility of First Black President
It's no secret that Black Eyed Peas member Will.i.am and Barack Obama are fans of each other. Will.i.am, and his famous friends, covered an Obama speech in his powerful video "Yes We Can," and Barack added the song to his top 10 favorites of all time. Last night I ran into Will.i.am and got to hear what he thinks about the possibility of the first black president.
