Black Eyed Peas "Boom Boom Pow" - Spin It or Sling It?

Black Eyed Peas are back with a new catchy song and accompanying video, showing Fergie's just as committed to her band as she is her many endorsement deals. "Boom Boom Pow" is the first single from the band's upcoming fifth studio album The E.N.D., which is currently due to be released in June. The MuchMusic Video Awards hit Toronto last night with a star-studded red carpet and a stage scattered with big performances. Taylor Lautner represented for the New Moon cast, smiling big and waving to the screaming adoring fans. Audrina Patridge sexed it up as usual in her LBD, though somewhere along the line she managed to piss off someone who apparently took Brody Jenner’s phone and called her a nasty name on his twitter. The Black Eyed Peas - who won International Group Video of the Year - the Jonas Brothers and Lady Gaga were among the night's performers.

Girls and Guys Get Glam For the American Music Awards!

The American Music Awards took place last night in Los Angeles, celebrating the best in US music from the past 12 months! Taylor Swift was the big winner of the night, dominating the female categories and getting gongs for favourite artist in both pop and country categories as well as beating Michael Jackson to the huge award - Artist of the Year. Taylor's in London at the moment and missed the ceremony, but Michael's family Jermaine and Janet were at the ceremony and picked up the late singer's four awards.

Country act Gloriana were shocked to beat Lady GaGa to Breakthrough Artist award, while Twilight picked up yet another award for Favourite Soundtrack. Performers included Whitney Houston, Jay-Z, Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, Rihanna, Lady GaGa as well as a performance by Adam Lambert that's got everyone talking - see why under the cut!

2009 MTV EMA Nominations and Performers Announced!

Having already given us the shortlist for the Best UK & Ireland New Act category, MTV has now announced the full list of nominations for the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards. Tokio Hotel, Green Day and Leona Lewis are all confirmed to perform at the ceremony in Berlin on 5 November too. Lady GaGa and Kings of Leon lead the pack with five nominations each, while several of our British and Irish stars have nominations, including Robbie Williams, Coldplay, U2, La Roux, Pixie Lott, Little Boots and Leona Lewis. You can vote for your favourites and then see all the pictures and find out gossip from backstage when we cover the awards in November. 2009 Teen Choice Awards: Arrivals and Winners!

The 2009 Teen Choice Awards took place yesterday in LA, with all the stars of the past year's charts, movies and TV shows turning up to be awarded by teens. The show is yet to air in both the US and UK, but Twilight took home a whole host of awards (check out the winners list under the cut for spoilers) as did Gossip Girl and the Jonas Brothers. Kristen Stewart looked like she was taking tips from Robert Pattinson with her big hair, and wore a seriously cool spiky skirt, while Leighton looked sexy in stripes!

Guests included Zac Efron, Britney Spears, Megan Fox, Black Eyed Peas, Vanessa Hudgens, Hugh Jackman and many more. Miley Cyrus hosted the ceremony - don't forget to check back for some photos from the show itself later on today!

Do Tell: What Song Would You Make Up Wild Lyrics To?

There are some songs that get so much radio play, you can practically memorize the lyrics in no time like the Black Eyed Peas's catchy Boom Boom Pow. With such a funny concept, it's easy to satirize - my Twitter pals, cookieandputter sing:

I like that Boom Boom Meow, These kitties jackin my pounce, They try to steal my mouseys, I'm on that next nip now.

Now every time I hear the catchy tune, I want to sing along "Gotta get cat, cat, cat."

Just for fun, check out this silly clip - no cats were harmed! - they agree Boom Boom Meow is hysterical, but as the video says: "Boom Boom Bark? No way."
