Congratulations red leather and relatives, you are officially noncheesy anymore. Berry-stained leather, as exhibited by the ravenous Rachel Weisz in Spain, is utterly appetizing. Of course, a lot depends on the accompaniments. Weisz smartly wore her smooth berry leather jacket with an adorable blue floral dress - both Marc Jacobs Resort - and killer black Barbara Bui suede sandals; she did no wrong. Keeping things feminine and unique will let your raspberry, blueberry, or tayberry piece pop.

I will never tire of Daria Werbowy's amazingness. For Vogue Nippon's November issue, the Ukrainian-Canadian model strutted her stuff in an editorial dubbed "Girl of the Golden Field." Now this is how Fall dressing should be: cozy sweaters, sherpa-lined leather jackets, ponchos, boots, and fur coats. Daria continues to astonish me with her scintillating bod - boobage alert! - and piercing blue eyes. Of course, her hair is tousled to perfection – Bella, how can I get this look? Coming Soon: Cuddle Up With Essie's 2009 Autumn Collection

Dust off your cashmere sweaters from your wardrobes and get ready to cosy up to Essie's newest nail collection. This six-colour line consists of four muted Autumnal rose, brown and grey shades along with two brights (pink and orange) to keep that Summertime neon trend going.The polishes were inspired from the bold furs and subdued knits on the Autumn/Winter 2009 runways. Essie Weingarten, Founder of Essie said in a recent press release,

"At the shows, designers showed striking tailored pieces in muted fabrics that exploded with bright pops of color – that was really refreshing and exciting. I applaud that fresh color perspective and chose to incorporate that trend into our Fall Color Collection – the mix of deep hues and happy brights is like no other collection we’ve done before."

All of the polishes are three-free from toluelene, DBP and formaldehyde. The collection is already available in the states and will be on sale in the UK in just a few weeks for £8.95 each. My favourite is Angora Cardi, a weathered, medium pink that looks warm on your skin and would be gorgeous paired with a brown leather jacket or a pale ruffled tunic and dark blazer. Angora Cardi is a deep and shiny rose shade - a must have for Autumn!
Mink Muffs is a smoky, chocolate brown with a hint of army green undertones.
Chinchilly is a taupey, creamy looking shade of grey.
Midnight Cami is a navy blue with flecks of blue glittery sparkles throughout.
Bright Tights is almost more than neon - it's electric orange with a high shine finish!
Pink Parka definitely screams more of a fun Summer pink, than a wintry tone, however, it's powerful, sexy and would certainly stand out on the slopes.

Last night, Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Reggie Bush had a date at the Staples Center, where the LA Lakers hit the court. Far from sporty, Kim looked modern chic in a gorgeous Vena Cava silk tank (on sale!) and an off-white leather jacket. Sticking with the neutral theme, she accessorized with a gray patent quilted bag and gray Christian Louboutin boots. Lastly, her dark-blue skinny jeans provide variety from all the soft hues. Works for me.

90210 cutie Jessica Stroup is looking subtly tough in her baby blue leather jacket. Not to mention this jacket makes her baby blues pop. Gorgeous. You've probably already snatched up a black leather jacket, and if you're craving more buttery leather, shake things up with a colored leather jacket. I recommend sticking to jewel tones - purple, blue, burgundy - or neutrals. Let's face it: when it comes to leather, happy colors like orange and yellow just don't fly.

Matthew Williamson For H&M Burns Through Foggy San Fran

Breathe in, breathe out. This was me last night when trying to fall asleep. You know when you're so excited for something insomnia ensues and obsession overpowers? You all know I've been anticipating Matthew Williamson's H&M collection since the news broke, but I didn't expect to turn groupie . . .
Rise and shine, join the line at the Powell Street H&M. The line was only about eight stylistas deep at this point. PartySugar, also a MW groupie, joined me around 7:30 a.m. - store opens at 10. But something had been brewing behind Fab's scenes, I just didn't want to jinx anything. And then, the fashion gods looked down upon me, and I got the email - I was granted early press access. Not to shop mind you, but to enter the store (this was about 9ish), survey the scene, try things on, take pics, and revel in MWHM. I already had my wish list, as did Party, so you can imagine our elation.

The West Coast district manager, Alexis, dished on how she thought this was the most commercially viable designer collection. Agreed. She was gaga over the leather jacket and the hot pink gold-studded belt. Interestingly, this SF store gets more stock of the designer goods than LA's Beverly Center store; who said SF didn't love to shop? We also chatted about Phase II - the Summer collection, hitting stores May 14. Alexis promised hot bikinis and a fresh geometric print overnight bag (stay tuned for pics!). I had to ask if Missoni for H&M is up next and she replied "no comment" which leads me to think it's true since the news broke just yesterday and she knew what I was talking about, sneaky Fab.

We were able to hang tight inside the store, out of the fog, but still not shop, until doors opened at 10 a.m. But our plans of attack were in place. And like that - mayhem. This was my first time really tolerating this. I missed the first collection, Karl Lagerfeld, slept through Stella McCartney, slacked on Viktor & Rolf, cried post Roberto Cavalli, and gave up on Commes de Garcons. But not Matthew. This was my H&M collection. And so, I raced though the racks plucking my new babies, calm as a clam.

The dramatic ruffled print maxi dress was the first to go. And in person, this one was amazing; the black sequined detailing was divine. The short version of this was a hot one, too. And as celebrities still work their PR magic, the sequined artsy dress worn by Ginnifer Goodwin and the peacock dress modeled by both Nicky Hilton and Katy Perry were gone in no time. None of these screamed Fab. I added the glam rockin' blue blazer, the yellow embroidered top, the pink feathered cardigan, the butterfly tee, and the hot pink studded belt to my arsenal.

As hoped, Kate made a grand entrance at the ribbon cutting for the grand opening of Topshop NYC. She's been partying it up in Topshop all week. We don't see Kate in bold colors often, so her emerald green Kate Moss for Topshop maxi is a shock to the eyes . . . in a good way! Silver chandelier earrings and Yves Saint Laurent black platform pumps maintain the chic while her blue leather jacket brings it all downtown.

Celebrity Style: Kate Moss' Nautical Look

Kate Moss has been busy finishing off her Spring collection for Topshop recently. We already know that it includes Liberty of London prints and lingerie, but curiousity has left me second guessing the rest based on her recent outfit choices! Will it include a leather bomber, or a neon pink jumper for example?

My girl Fab US loved her bright ensemble last week, and today she stepped out in equally as effortless attire. Kate teamed nautical stripes with her trusty skinny jeans, a leather jacket and a blue leopard print scarf (tied on to her handbag). See below to copy her look.

Trend Alert: Lace

It is a well known fact of fashion, that where Miuccia Prada leads, the rest of us follow.

It was she who revitalised the trend for heavy, boiled wool, paired stilettos with socks, and has such an open distaste for what she perceives as constrictions in fashion, you could almost credit her with kick starting the current love affair with mixing it up – think vintage garments worn with ultra-modern pieces, as well as a clashing of colours and textures.

So when Mrs Prada showed elegantly grown-up lace in her autumn/winter 2008 collection, the fashion world took note. Think layers of dark, Italian Bordello-style lace, worn over simple blue shirts, or layered with stern black jackets, for an erotically charged, silhouette. The shapes themselves were understated and ladylike. Not-too-tight pencil skirts hit the knee, and tops were long sleeved and high-necked. Shoes – the main story this season, as they have been at Prada for the past few years, were chunky creations in bronze, black and brown, with fluted leather fans coming out the back of the heel.

This look ties in to the Dark Romantic trend – more black lace at Chanel, leather at Givenchy, sheer black at Lanvin and Chloe, and crochet black dresses at Stella McCartney. The vibe is Film Noir – undercover sensuality, wrapped up in a sophisticated and dramatic guise.

Wear with killer shoes and va va vamp lips. What could be more desirable?
