Get the Look: Turquoise and Gold Thanksgiving Table

I'm totally inspired by this Thanksgiving table setting from Martha Stewart. First of all, the gold pumpkins are utterly chic and a great way to update an overused seasonal décor item. Furthermore, the combination of this soft cerulean/turquoise color with the rich gold is simply beautiful and an elegant alternative to the warm browns and oranges you see on most Thanksgiving tables. Traditional Thanksgiving palettes never really appealed to me to begin with, so I'm weak in the knees over this. I tried to recreate this elegant setting and palette, and I think I've come up with something very glam, if I do say so myself. Just add gold pumpkins!

Cool Idea: Everything in One Hue

Melanie, of the fabulous Etsy shop Plum Cushion, lives in a seriously stylish 1941 Cape Cod in Seattle. The bones of her home are nice, but it's her cool palette and ability to modernize vintage pieces that really make it hip. One of my favorite elements was how she painted her Rococo sconces and mirror and her Chinoiserie console table to match the blue of her walls. Obviously, each piece has an ornate shape that could really stand out if painted in a contrasting color. But they're all so shapely, it would be too busy and competitive if that were the case. Painted to match the walls, her accessories pop and make you give the quaint corner a second look.

Stars Turn Out For Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Loads of stars got dressed up to attend the Glamour Women Of The Year Awards at Berkeley Square Gardens last night. Kylie Minogue continued the celebratory mood since her birthday last week by picking up the big award of the night, Woman of the Year, as well as the Entrepreneur gong. British favourites Alexa Chung and Fearne Cotton won the Presenter and Radio Personality awards respectively, and Katy Perry was named Newcomer of the Year.

Acting awards went to Michelle Ryan, Amanda Seyfried, Becki Newton and Joanna Page, all of whom looked stunning on the red carpet, while Girls Aloud were unable to collect their Band of the Year award as they were busy performing on tour. Cheryl Cole couldn't pick up her TV Personality of the Year award in person, and Kanye West wasn't there to collect his Man of the Year gong, but Adele and Estelle both turned up to receive their awards.

Plenty of gorgeous men turned up to support the Women of the Year, including Mocano Grand Prix winner Jenson Button and Dizzee Rascal, who is number one in the singles chart. James Corden took time out from filming Gulliver's Travels to show off his beard at the ceremony, while smouldering Ed Westwick showed once again why he'll be perfect as Heathcliff.

Trend Alert: Blue Eye Makeup

Over the past few days, we've seen celebrities appearing on the red carpet with peeper popping blue-hued makeup. First there was Stephanie Pratt from The Hills who wore bright and funky aqua eyeliner at Nylon Magazine's Young Hollywood Issue Party, then we saw Rihanna at The Costume Institute Met Gala in sparkling cobalt blue liner and shadow. Also in attendance on Monday night was the newly married Gisele Bundchen who donned a stunning navy mini-dress that she paired with navy liner and smoky blue shadow. These ladies have proven the versatility of blue eye makeup - see, I told you everyone can wear it!

Have I got some awesome news for Blue fans ... Duncan James, Simon Webbe, Antony Costa and Lee Ryan are reforming the band! Following rumours about a reunion, the guys officially announced today that they will take to the stage again, and posed with Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon outside the Capital FM studios. The boy band will perform at the Summertime Ball on 7th June at the Emirates Stadium in London. I'd love to know how you feel about this news, so tell me: are you excited that Blue are reforming?

Etsy Find: French Blue Chandelier

I don't normally think of Etsy as the go-to place for chandeliers. But, having found this French Blue Chandelier ($58) treasure, I think I'll reconsider. This antique-style fixture is utterly charming, and its curved arms would add interest to any room. The blue is very much like royal blue in France's tricolor flag, don't you think? So chic. And, did I mention that it costs less than $60? What a steal! If I could find a place for it in my home, I'd snatch up this baby in a second.
