Get a load of these lovely brunettes who have all chopped and shaped their hair into various forms of the bob hairstyle in 2009. Not only are they keeping their locks healthy and looking chic, but they're also paying homage to bob's 100th birthday! in the beauty world, that sure is one cause for celebration as it made my top list of Biggest Headlines of 2009!

Ladies like Kate Nash and Katy Perry chose a blunt cut fringe style bob that's longer in the lengths, whilst Agyness Deyn, Lily Allen and Michelle Williams chose a more Louise Brooks, bowl-cut style bob. Another type of bob we saw this year was on Ginnifer Goodwin and Salma Hayek who sported a pageboy bob, made popular again in 2008. Out of all of these different styles of bob's, which look do you like the most?

I would presume, the rain had something to do with last night's Golden Globes hair styling choices, but every time I turned around there was another updo on the red carpet. Looking at recent pictures of Marion Cotillard, I couldn't help but be impressed by her wardrobe full of sophisticated pieces. Agyness Shows Off New Bob

Just when we thought that New York Fashion Week couldn't show us any more hair surprises, Agyness Deyn stole the limelight from Victoria Beckham by unveiling her brand new bob yesterday at the shows. It's typical of on-trend Agyness to have updated her look, just when it seemed everyone was copying her crop.

This new, short, yet sharp cut looks striking with Agyness' bleach blonde colour and has a retro feel that brings to mind the flapper girls of the 20's. It's also more groomed, feminine, shiny and polished than her previous spiky, street-chic cut.

The haircut debuted at the Michael Kors show and was teamed with matte red lipstick and dark brows. I really like it, however, I'm sure it won't be long before she changes it again - the the girl does love to experiment.
