Trend Alert: Mortal Combat
Props to Nicky Hilton for thinking outside the umbrella. Instead of wearing the per-usual pair of galoshes during the wet season, the cutie donned funky mortal combat boots. Such footwear is ideal in slippery conditions and looks amazing with simple leggings or skinny jeans.

Trend Alert: Wedge Ankle Boots
Wedge heels are slowly making a comeback for 2010, and they're already starting to appear in stores. I'm not sure how I feel about these shoes. One one hand, they're much more comfortable than sky high stilettos, but on the other they don't quite look as good.
