My mom said that when I was a kid, it was pretty common to circumcise your son when he was born. Times were different back then though - my mom also said it wasn't "proper" to whip your boob out in public, so instead of breastfeeding, the nurse put ice packs on her breasts.
Nowadays, we know how important breastfeeding is to the baby's health, and circumcision - well, some people are starting to disagree with it, calling it immoral, and against the baby's wishes (you can't really ask a baby boy if he wants his foreskin removed or not!).

If you ever watched the show Boy Meets World in the '90s, you probably never would have looked at Topanga Lawrence, played by Danielle Fishel, and thought this young girl had issues with her weight. She was adorable, thin, and fun-loving on the show, but in her teen years, she was secretly "obsessed" with having a 24-inch waist. In order to maintain this tiny frame, she tried taking laxatives, eating a diet of iceberg lettuce, and occasionally making herself throw up.

Although that "Soulja Boy" song and dance has taken every club in the country by storm, there are some of us who just aren't having it. We prefer the more dignified dances of the past. But while everyone's bouncing around like a bunch of baffoons, let's at least have fun with the lyrics, why don't we?
