Sugar and spice and everything nice, that's what little girls are made of, while boys are supposedly contrived of snips and snails and puppy dog tails. So I should expect that along with those snips and snails there would be other icky things that come along with the muddy boy territory, right? The thought of my boy's voice cracking makes me blush even though he's only 6 months old. But what I am dreading in the near future? The discovery of his penis!

Sometime in the next few months, my lil guy is going to locate his "tail," as my daughter likes to call it, and find pure delight in the ability to toy with it during bath time and diaper changes. My mommy friends have warned me about the certain arrival of this moment. I presume when he is 13 years old, I will look back and laugh at how easy this rite of passage is for a wee guy compared to the adolescent years and beyond.

Group Therapy: I'm Having Trouble in Dating Paradise - Help!

I met this really cute guy a few nights ago. We've gone out on one date so far, and I honestly thought it went really well. We had lots to talk about, lots of stuff in common, and he kept making references to the future, saying things like, "We've got to do this," or "Next time we hang out, remind me to take you here," etc. When he dropped me off, we kissed goodbye and he gave me a big hug.

He texted me the next day, telling me that he had a great time and asked me out again for the next day, which was yesterday. He told me that he'd call me to secure plans but I still haven't heard from him! I was all excited, thinking that we were going to hang out, and now I'm left really confused. How could he seem so interested and then just completely blow me off? Do you think I'll hear from him again? If so, what should I say/do about the fact that he bailed on our date?

But I've noticed a common theme when my girlfriends tell me about their significant others' nights out: they're constantly up to no good, drinking too much, staying out too late, and spending too much money. Of course it's their life and they can live it however they see fit, but when it compromises their girlfriends' feelings, something has to change. So ladies, how do you feel when your significant other goes out with the guys? Is it a cause for contention, or are you a supporter of boys' night out?

Group Therapy: He Won't Make a Move!

I broke up with my boyfriend of one year about two months ago. Since then, one of my very best guy friends has moved back to the area, and we've been spending a lot of time together. He's 25 (I'm 24), and we've known each other for about two and a half years. We've always had an extremely flirty relationship, and although we've never even so much as kissed, I definitely sense some kind of chemistry between us. All of my friends seem to think we'll eventually end up together. However, I'm starting to have my doubts.

We used to only hang out on occasion, but since my breakup, he regularly calls me just to talk, invites me out almost every weekend, takes me out to dinner, insists on paying for everything, etc. But besides intense flirting, he has yet to make a move. Every night when he drops me off at my apartment, he gives me a hug and nothing more. This would be fine if we were just friends, but I feel like our consistent "dates" have made us more than that.

At first I just thought maybe he needed a little more time to get comfortable, but now it just seems ridiculous. I feel like I'm in high school again! I've never had this problem with a guy before. Is he just not interested? Have I been reading him wrong? I would just go ahead and kiss him, but now that I'm second-guessing his intentions, I would be mortified if I tried to kiss him and he pulled away! The last thing I want to do is ruin our friendship or make it all awkward.

Do Tell: Do You Consider Yourself Boy Crazy?

My mom always used to refer to one specific girlfriend of mine growing up as boy crazy. Of course, we were young so it wasn't that she was promiscuous, but she definitely loved the attention she got from the boys! Now I'm not going to say that I shy away from male attention, but I can comfortably say that I've never been a boy-crazed girl. What about you? Do tell ladies, do you consider yourself to be boy crazy?
