Brad and Angelina Cute as a Button at His Premiere With Cate

Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett came out to premiere The Curious Case of Benjamin Button in LA last night. While they were the stars on the big screen, Angelina Jolie was the one who lit up the evening with her big smile, happily supporting Brad. She playfully hid behind a poster joking around with Brad's costars. The duo look blissful - not to mention picture perfect - joined by Brad's parents Bill and Jane. Of course one of the night's showstoppers was Cate Blanchett in her unique dress. They were joined by some more glamor in the shape of Jennifer Lopez in a revealing number, Eva Longoria popping in blue and his Legends of the Fall costar Julia Ormond. These days the Jolie-Pitts may be calling Europe and New Orleans home more so than LA, but there's always a place for their Hollywood smiles when the red carpet rolls out.

Jennifer Aniston Takes the Stage, Camera Cuts to Brad/Angelina

Jennifer Aniston looked just stunning taking the stage at the Oscars tonight presenting two awards with Jack Black. Of course, the camera cut to a smiley Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as Jennifer spoke onstage. The Jolie-Pitts are front and center and while we probably won't see an interaction, it's interesting that Jennifer was presenting a category where Angelina's movie could potentially win. Elsewhere, Jennifer sweetly cuddled up with John Mayer backstage. We couldn't resist bringing you the video of Jennifer onstage. She's such a great addition to the fun show!

It Was a Night Full of Tears and Laughter at the Golden Globes

After last year's abridged version of the Globes, everyone seemed excited to go back to the traditional show with all the Hollywood glamour and exciting speeches. Jennifer Lopez kicked off the show in her gold revealing gown where she handed out the first award to last night's real star - Kate Winslet. The actress scored a double win at the beginning and the end of the show and her heartfelt loving thank yous to both Leo and her husband were a highlight. So was when she forgot someone in particular in her category - Kate recovered and gave Angelina a shout out as well, but phew, we got a little worried when she asked, "Who's the other one?" Bruce Springsteen joked that he has and never will be in the same category as Clint Eastwood again. Chris Nolan accepted Heath Ledger's posthumous win to a standing ovation from the whole room. Johnny Depp made a quick appearance to present Best Actress in a Musical/Comedy to Sally Hawkins. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie didn't take home any trophies but looked just fine cuddling up and kissing throughout the ceremony.

The 30 Rock crew got big laughs most of the night. Some of Alec's jokes fell flat but we're happy he scored an award and even happier loose cannon Tracey Morgan was allowed to accept the award for the show. Mad Men got to celebrate for real this year with their trophy for Best Dramatic Series. Colin Farrell was happy and surprised to win an award though he sniffed and made a not-so-appropriate coke joke. That still went over better than Sacha Baron Cohen, who was booed by the audience when he joked that because of the recession Madonna had to let go of her personal assistant Guy Ritchie. Spielberg getting the Cecile B. Demille award reminded us so much of why we love the movies especially what he has created. Mickey Rourke won Best Dramatic Actor but his acceptance speech was a little too colorful for the censors. Slumdog Millionaire and Vicky Cristina Barcelona were the big winners of the night and everyone enjoyed celebrating at one of our favorite award shows of the season.

The Oscars Brought Laughter, Tears, and Lots of Singing

Last night, the Oscars provided an exciting finale to another awesome award season. We were treated to a new format that kicked off with Hugh Jackman showing off his singing and dancing skills before having fun and joking with the big names of the night. Later on he was joined by Beyonce, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Amanda Seyfried for a fun medley honoring musicals. Jennifer Aniston looked gorgeous onstage and happy sitting next to John, although we were so hoping to see her on the red carpet. Among the big surprises of the night were the presenters - we were treated to sightings of some of our favorites from Reese to Will, with a special shout-out to Ben Stiller for cracking us up with his Joaquin Phoenix impersonation.

There weren't many upsets last night and the winners - click here to see them all - could not have been more gracious to accept their Oscar. Penelope started it off by joking that she might faint, which was later echoed by Kate Winslet who also had an especially sweet moment trying to locate her dad in the huge crowd. Heath Ledger's family accepted his statue on his behalf, as we teared up right along with everyone in the Kodak Theater. Sean Penn won the final showdown between him and Mickey, but he was sure to give his friend a very honorable mention. The big winner of the night was Slumdog Millionaire, with the whole cast onstage accepting the Best Picture trophy - right down to the film's smallest stars.

Benjamin Button Brings Out Brad And Beautiful Women

Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett's new movie The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button premiered last night in Westwood, California, and a whole host of glamorous stars showed up to the black tie event. Angelina Jolie walked the press line in a simple but stunning long black dress to support her man, Jennifer Lopez showed up in anything but innocent white, and Tilda Swinton wore a long muted stripy number. Julia Roberts' actress niece Emma Roberts also wore black, and looked demure and elegant in her lace dress - love those shoes! The magical movie comes out in the UK on February 6, and you can check out the trailer after the jump.

TIFF Gives VMAs a Run For Its Money

The MTV VMAs may have been the talk of the town, but the Toronto Film Festival proved to be just as star-studded. Jennifer Aniston looked fabulous as usual in her mini black dress for Management, while Keira Knightley looked like royalty once again on the red carpet for The Duchess. Brad Pitt showed off his Burn After Reading and talked about how little sleep he's getting these days taking care of six kids. Dakota Fanning wowed us in her black number, looking so pretty and grown-up at the premiere of The Secret Life of Bees with costar Jennifer Hudson.

Mark Ruffalo pulled double duty for Blindness with Julianne Moore and The Brothers Bloom with Adrien Brody, while Anne Hathway looked gorgeous continuing promotions for Rachel Getting Married. Of course, it wouldn't be a festive weekend without a few parties, and Kate Hudson, Diddy, and Lindsay Lohan were just a handful of stars who had plenty of fun without any movies of their own to endorse.

Angelina Talks About Brad, Jen and Her Family

Angelina has never really spoken about falling in love with Brad and how their relationship developed. For the first time she is telling all about meeting him on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, falling in love and the life they share with their three kids. She is also speaking a bit about meeting Jen. Here's more:

"Not as exciting as what a lot of people would like to believe," Jolie said. "We spent a lot of time contemplating and thinking and talking about what we both wanted in life and realized that we wanted very, very similar things."

"And then we just continued to take time. We remained very, very good friends - with this realization - for a long time," she added.

"And then life developed in a way where we could be together, where it felt like something we would do, we should do."

Jolie said she has only briefly met Aniston and would gladly sit down with her - but only of the "Friends" star asked to do so.

"I did [once meet Aniston], but it was not a proper meeting. We've, like, passed each other and said 'hi' briefly, shook hands. But not a real sit-down-and-talk kind of meeting," Jolie said.

"That would be her decision [for a long sit-down], and I would welcome it."

In her first in-depth words about life as half of Tinseltown's first couple, Jolie tells Vogue magazine she never wanted to ruin Pitt's marriage to actress Jennifer Aniston - it just happened that way.

"I didn't know much about exactly where Brad was in his personal life [when they met on the set of "Smith"]. But it was clear he was with his best friend, someone he loves and respects," Jolie said in a revealing interview in the magazine's January issue.

"And so we were both living, I suppose, very full lives."

Jolie said she was committed to life as a single mom when she was paired with Pitt in the espionage action flick.

"Brad was a huge surprise to me," she said. "I, like most people, had a very distant impression of him from . . . the media.

"I think we were the last two people who were looking for a relationship. I certainly wasn't," she said. "I was quite content to be a single mom."

The "Tomb Raider" babe admitted she was thrilled working with Pitt every day while shooting "Smith" in 2003 and 2004.

"Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things, and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership that kind of just suddenly happened. I think a few months in I realized, 'God, I can't wait to get to work,' " she said.

"Whether it was shooting a scene or arguing about a scene or gun practice or dance class or doing stunts - anything we had to do with each other, we just found a lot of joy in it together and a lot of real teamwork. We just became kind of a pair."

While Jolie adamantly insisted she and Pitt were not seeking to pair up, the pouty-lipped bombshell confessed they were tempted to make more of what they had.

"And it took until, really, the end of the shoot for us, I think, to realize that it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe," Jolie said. "And both knowing that the reality of that was a big thing, something that was going to take a lot of serious consideration."

Jolie said she and Pitt remained "very, very good friends" after shooting "Smith." They were resigned to staying nothing more than pals, Jolie said, until Pitt and Aniston announced their breakup in early 2005.

Pitt and Aniston filed for divorce that spring, amid rampant reports that the Hollywood hunk had his eye on Jolie the whole time.

Vogue didn't directly press Jolie on whether she and Pitt fooled around behind Aniston's back. But Jolie said she realized, early on, that she shared a deep, emotional bond with Pitt before they formally hooked up post-Aniston.

Jolie said she doesn't plan to marry Pitt, but they're committed to raising their boy and two girls.

She gave birth to their daughter, Shiloh, earlier this year, after adopting Maddox from Cambodia in 2002 and taking in Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005.

"We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together.

"We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing," she said.

Jolie said she hasn't spoken to her dad, actor Jon Voight, for five years.

Although she keeps up with mom Marcheline Bertrand, Jolie said she doesn't allow many people into her inner circle.

"I don't trust anyone," Jolie admitted.

"I don't think it's a good thing. This is going to make you think that maybe I should get some therapy, but trust is such a bizarre word. I'd like to say that I trust my mother, but I also don't know if she might do something that she thinks is in my best interest.

Still, "I trust Brad will never do anything," she said.

But after a few moments, Jolie then added, "I don't know. I don't trust anybody completely."

Jolie said she won't wear emotions on her sleeve - because it wouldn't do her any good.

"It's not going to accomplish anything to cry. It's not going to help you to get a hug!" she said.

"I'm not a hugger. People make fun of me. It's something that I have a hard time with. If someone hugs me, I hold my breath. Snuggling, cuddling, hugging, crying . . . all that stuff makes me very uncomfortable."

Except when it comes to her kids, the star said.

"Oh, I love hugging my kids," she quickly added. "It's a different thing because you feel such a genuine grab from them."

The actress, once married to Hollywood bad-boy Billy Bob Thornton, conceded that she once lived life too close to the edge.

That all changed once she had children.

"I'm committed to the future now," Jolie said. "I'm committed to life. I think definitely before my son, I was a little nihilistic. But once I adopted Mad [Maddox], I knew I was never going to be intentionally self-destructive again."

"I'm starting to be able to see being 50 years old with the kids graduating from high school."

Vogue's glossy, 14-page spread on Jolie includes several shots by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

The 31-year-old Jolie managed to ooze sexuality in the magazine package, even as she showed off her passion for motorcycles and flying in the unforgiving California desert.

She's in the upcoming Robert De Niro spy thriller, "The Good Shepherd," starring alongside Matt Damon.

The flick premiered at the Ziegfeld Theater in Midtown last night, and she and Pitt immediately stole the show as soon as they hit the red carpet.

Jolie's next big flick will be portraying the wife of murdered journalist Daniel Pearl in "A Mighty Heart." It was a role that Aniston had once said she would "love" to play.

Jolie said it was her children - basically Maddox - who ultimately cemented her relationship with Pitt as a family.

One day, Maddox "just out of the blue called him Dad," she said. "It was amazing. We were playing with cars on the floor of a hotel room, and we both heard it and didn't say anything and just looked at each other.

"So that was probably the most defining moment, when he decided that we would all be a family," she said.

Jolie said that in addition to Pitt being a great dad, he has a "wicked sense of humor" and, "He's a great challenge to me."

"We're constantly in competition with each other," she said. "He's somebody I admire based on the way he lives his life."

For example, People is giving the lowdown on Brad and Angelina's estrangement while Star claims that he's been illicitly meeting up with Jen. Their love triangle is a great example of tales running wild, but occasionally it seems as though gossip turns out to be accurate when multiple outlets are reporting the same tales. Sugar Bits - Gary Barlow Wants His Own Pop Reality Show

Gary Barlow wants to rival The X Factor with his own pop reality show on the BBC. He is apparently pushing the idea after setting up his own music label, backed by Universal (the arch rival of Simon Cowell's label Sony BMG). The show, which was originally offered to ITV, will involve singing and dancing and could replace Andrew Lloyd Webber’s shows. - The Sun
Nancy Dell'Olio has reportedly been offered £250,000 to join the Celebrity Big Brother house, in the hopes that Ulrika Jonsson's former love rival will increase the viewing figures.
