Brad Rebounds With Smiles After a Close Call

Brad Pitt traded in his motorcycle helmet for a familiar fedora to run errands around LA yesterday. His minor motorcycle accident over the weekend meant one of his beloved bikes had to get towed away, and apparently it also led to a break from his preferred mode of transportation. With all the family's ATV riding in France it seems like he may have a few mini daredevils on his hands, he's also certainly passed on another of his loves - hats - to his daughters Shiloh and Zahara.

Brad Has a Minor Motorcyle Mishap

Brad Pitt took one of his many motorcycles for a joy ride around LA on Saturday. He stopped off for a quick bite at the Beverly Hills Hotel, but his serene and solo morning was interrupted by a little trouble when he had a small accident on his way home. Brad apparently clipped a car's rearview mirror when going between two vehicles, and he hopped off his bike to exchange information before a tow truck came along. It was a brief bit of drama for Brad, who's been relaxing at home in California after recent travels in Europe for work and the Middle East for charity as he and Angelina gear up for new Hollywood projects.

Brad Pitt's Moneyball Movie Runs Into Trouble

Brad Pitt went for another ride around LA on his motorcycle on Friday. Production on Brad's latest project, Moneyball, was scheduled to start today in Phoenix but has been stalled because Columbia Pictures didn't like the latest copy of the script. The movie still has the clout of Brad as well as director Steven Soderbergh, both of whose agents met this weekend to discuss the future of the film. Moneyball, which is based on the bestselling book of the same name, still could be picked up by another studio, but if not Brad might be looking at some extra free time this Summer.

Brad's Motorcycle and Moneyball Are Breaking Down

Brad Pitt's motorcycle broke down on his way to a meeting in LA on Thursday. He ended up having to hitch a ride with the paparazzi but the setback didn't leave him flustered. Brad looked hotter then ever with his retro shirt and cool shades while holding his "Daddy's helmet" with its adorable drawings in his lap. The actor's not having the best of luck lately - his Moneyball movie is having trouble getting off the ground as more details are revealed about what went wrong. On the bright side, many of you enjoyed his Softbank commercial and his highly anticipated Inglourious Basterds is due out next month so he still has plenty to look forward to.

Brad Pitt waved and smiled at the paparazzi on his way out of a meeting with Aaron Sorkin in LA yesterday. He cruised the streets of Hollywood on his motorcycle while Angelina Jolie and Maddox headed out of town at LAX. Brad's Moneyball is still on hold while Aaron works on the new script, but the actor seems to be filling his free time with meetings as he enjoys his Summer on the West Coast before Inglorious Basterds hits theaters around the world.

Brad Pitt cruised around on one of his motorcycles in LA on Thursday while Angelina was across the country in DC with Maddox and Pax speaking at the World Refugee Day conference. For the most part, Angelina's subject matter was pretty heavy but she also spoke to Anderson Cooper a bit about her family and an upcoming first birthday for the twins, Knox and Vivienne. She said, "I do have the twins (born July 12) and I just had Shi in May. We have so many kids that we just have year-round birthdays. … It’s a lot of fun now ’cause the older kids are old enough to help plan the birthdays for the younger kids. So it’s one of the great pleasures of life, the birthdays." Before Knox and Viv turn the big one year, this weekend's another special day for the family of eight - Father's Day for Brad dad.

He and Angelina have rebel streaks, and it sounds like their kids are troublemakers already - while mom and dad were on the red carpet at the BAFTAs last weekend, their kids were causing a ruckus in the hotel. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Start Topping All Those 2008 Lists

Brad Pitt spent the weekend in LA after arriving via private jet with the kids to play with his toys. On Friday he was spotted around town on his motorcycle and on Sunday he took the backseat in his car in Hollywood. While both times Brad hit the town without his partner, she was just deemed the highest paid actress in Hollywood this year so congrats to the family. We'll just have to see whether the Jolie-Pitts can win your votes in this year's Best of 2008 polls - she already may not be your favorite dramatic actress of the year, we've yet to see how he is in Benjamin Button. Brad seems to be spending more promotional time talking about his projects and family than about the movie, but the expectations are high for this movie to be one of the best of the year.

Brad Pitt's Almost Anonymous, But Not Quite

Brad Pitt who thankfully grew his mustache into a full goatee, was spotted riding around LA yesterday on one of his many motorcycles. In his W Magazine cover interview, Brad refers to the time when he's on his bikes as his most anonymous calling himself, “just another a--hole on the streets,” but it was his comments about Angelina and Jennifer that caught everyone's attention yesterday. He played it well, though of course there's a million ways to dissect his words, so we'll see whether he and Angelina have any uncomfortable moments sprung on them at tonight's Critics' Choice Awards or Sunday's Golden Globes. Just think, one year ago at tonight's awards we started to speculate about whether or not Angelina was pregnant and today's another big one - it's Zahara's 4th Birthday! Hopefully she gets some good celebrating in before mom and dad are off to hit the red carpet this evening.
