Rachel Follows Fashion, and Maybe Ted Down the Aisle?!

Rachel Bilson was just in Italy to check out the scene at Milan Fashion Week, but she was back in LA yesterday continuing her stylish ways. She met up with an old friend, the designer Brian Reyes, for an appearance at Neiman Marcus, before joining her mom for lunch at La Scala. Rachel also checked out Brian's collection during his show at NYFW, and their relationship could come in handy if she gets decked out for a press tour before New York, I Love You opens on Oct. 16. She's rumored to have another role in the pipeline - she might be appearing on How I Met Your Mother as Ted's future wife!

Brian Reyes's Properly Designed Rubbers

You can even have style in the bedroom. With the (overwhelming) amount of New York Fashion Week sponsors and collaborations I witnessed last week, one was truly cool: Brian Reyes designed Proper Attire condoms. In the past, Yigal Azrouel designed them, too - these are still available for purchase. And look! Alexander Wang tried his hand at rubber design. I'm still lusting after Brian's Spring collection, but his Proper Attire condoms took a print from his '10 Resort collection. Still, clearly an original Reyes musing. The condoms are $6 for a three-pack (Fab tested, Fab approved).

Trend Alert: Long-Sleeve Minis

Even better, they're ideal for Fall - pair them with leather leggings for a scintillating rocker-glam vibe, or with tights for maximum coziness. 2010 Spring New York Fashion Week: Brian Reyes

Brian Reyes is a quiet force and I think we just witnessed his best collection yet. Stay tuned for an exclusive interview with stylist to Rachel Bilson and Kristen Bell, Nicole Chavez, who I chatted with preshow, but for now, feast. The Spring wears flowed like a Muse song - some soft and feminine, some powerful and dead chic.The show opened with a white Japanese cotton bodysuit, followed by a delicate harness dress, placket shirt, and car coat in the breezy fabric. These were accompanied by frilly denim and a bold sepia print bodysuit. Brian is known for his unique prints; the skeletal print was a dark surprise. Other eye catchers include the black embroidery - I'm sure Carine Roitfeld, front row, coral nail polish - appreciated this, an adorable aqua shagreen print silk dress (pictured), and the bleeding-heart print. Front row and center was Reyes's number-one celebrity fan, Rachel Bilson, and Becki Newton - double cuteness.

Kristen Bell never ceases to amaze me with her ability to deliver fresh cocktail attire. At The Hangover premiere in LA, the actress posed in a plunging Brian Reyes dress. Her vintage House of Lavande necklace, Bally clutch, and Brian Atwood pumps are all showstoppers, but what I'm most impressed by is her nude belt that comes with the dress. Let me explain: the belt changes the look in an unexpected way. Imagine the outfit without it - cute but not at its peak, right? Next time you're getting dressed, remember, the simplest item can elevate one to Fab status.

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump doesn't need much to stun, but a little Brian Reyes never hurt anyone. Her nude tulle gown exudes beautiful sophistication. Note how the slim back belt calls attention to her waist - nice. For accessories, Ivanka chose silver drop earrings and bangles from her own jewelry line, satin Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps, and Judith Leiber clutch. What do you think?

We haven't seen a plunging neckline in a while; leave it to Obsessed vixen Ali Larter to take the plunge at the LA premiere of Grey Gardens. How low would you go? Cleavage aside, her blue metallic embroidered Brian Reyes dress, black tuxedo jacket, and navy wraparound sandals are divine.
