Nicole, LC, Brody, DJ AM Oh My!

Oh what a night. Looks like there really are only a few limited places to hang out in Hollywood. Nicole apparently went out with her girlfriends this weekend and she ran into Brody and LC, and her ex-fiance DJ AM in the same room. And it sounds like LC was rubbing the whole thing in Nicole's face. Here's more:

Nicole arrived around 10:30 p.m. with several girlfriends and was handling the situation well…until LC’s “in-your-face friendliness” became too much, an eyewitness tells LifeandStylemag.com. Nicole broke down in tears and, says the eyewitness, sobbed to a friend, “LC just keeps saying hi to me over and over again. I can’t stand it! It's like she’s rubbing it in my face. Just leave me alone!”

Nicole eventually found solace in DJ AM, who was spinning at the party. “Nic went up to his booth and got a big hug,” says the eyewitness. “They whispered to each other, and DJ AM was able to turn her night around. By the time she stepped away from his DJ booth back into the crowded club, she was all smiles again.”

While Brody may not have intentionally been trying to stir up tension with Nic, he couldn’t keep his affection for LC on the DL as he cuddled and kissed her for all to see.

So it sounds like DJ AM really saved the day and was there for Nicole. But they won't be getting back together anytime soon... AM has moved on with Michelle Trachtenberg. Hollywood is so just like high school. To see more pics of Nicole out with her girlfriends, just read more

So, Brody's like so moving on from one Laguna Beach blonde to another! Since Brody broke up with Nicole last week, the rumor was that Brody would find his way back to Kristin Cavallari, but he apparently has gone for her number one enemy instead... LC aka Lauren Conrad! This is way better than the 3rd season of Laguna Beach MTV is airing right now. Kristin must be so pissed, but then again who knows, she may be back in Brody's arms again next week. Or is she still going for Nicole's ex DJ AM? It's so hard to follow the real-life high school drama. Check out LC who can't seem to keep her hands off Brody while the couple were hanging out at Mel's Diner - how romantic.

Dolce & Geisha Party with Reality Stars

Another night, another event full of reality TV stars promoting something. This time the Dolce and Geisha House Restaurants had a CD release party in LA. The Hills alums Heidi and LC made an appearance along with LC's ex Brody. Wonder if that was an awkward encounter since their split. LC Might Be So Over Brody

Lauren Conrad kept busy making her way around town and meeting up with friends over the past few days. The night out also included a run-in with Brody Jenner. There was a whole lotta tension between these two on last week's episode of The Hills, and these days it seems that there's still some bad blood. They both were spotted at Goa on Thursday night, but LC kept her attention to a new mystery boy while Brody hung with his boys. Apparently they didn't even say hello to each other, but that sounds better than the frosty reunion they had after Lauren got back from Paris.

Lauren Conrad happily modeled yellow and purple bikinis for the January issue of Shape magazine in which she chalked her toned physique up to frequent small meals, working out, eating lots of veggies and fish. Pretty standard, though she does say that her cute exercise wardrobe is what kicked her into high gear. The real juicy stuff is from last night's episode (before next week's shocking! Season! It's official... after breaking up with Kristin and then Nicole, Brody has moved on with another real life OC girl, Lauren Conrad. We are loving the high school drama, and that Brody is hooking up with Kristin's number one enemy. People reports:

"I don't know what you consider dating, but we're seeing each other, we're having a great time with it," Jenner tells PEOPLE. "She's an amazing girl. That's all there is to say. She's fun to be around. She's sweet. She's kind. There's nothing bad to say about her."

Conrad, however, was coy about her relationship with Jenner, saying only, "He's a nice guy."

Asked if he's still in contact with Richie, Jenner tells PEOPLE: "Yeah, of course. Me and Nicole remain good friends. Nothing will change that."

Lots of ladies from The Hills and The City hit the red carpet at last night's MTV VMAs. We chatted a little with the shows' stars about all the changes to come this season, with LBD clad Whitney Port and Lo Boswoth sharing some previews. Kristin Cavallari addressed her rumored romance with John Mayer, while Stacie Hall - aka Stacie the bartender - revealed one rather big spoiler. Here's more:

Kristin on allegedly dating John Mayer: "It's funny because I've met him one time, for 5 seconds at a big press event like this. I don't know, it's always funny how these rumors get started."
Stacie on what to expect from her next season: "I find myself in a lot, a lot of drama I didn't think I was a dramatic person. . . definitely with boys. That's gonna happen. . . "
Could it be Justin Bobby? "Maybe. . . (smiles)."
Lo on next season: "You're going to see a lot of new female faces - not just Kristin. You're going to see new troublemakers, which you know, it kind of makes me a little uncomfortable! I've kind of been there since the beginning, and I want it to be exactly what it was and it's not anymore."
Stephanie on Heidi and Spencer's baby plans: "I was with them and they started talking about freezing eggs and stuff, and I was like, "Ew, you guys! I'm right here.'"

On keeping in touch with LC: "I'm filming with Lo, who lives with her, so we get updated. . . but I don't see her too often, I really don't. But there's no bad blood there."

Whitney:

About her new costars: "Everyone is very different, and not in a good or bad way. Everyone plays off of each other, in a very dramatic kind of feeling.
On Jay returning to The City: "I'm not sure, to be perfectly honest. I mean, he is my friend and he's in and out of my life. But I haven't seen any of the episodes yet, so. . . "

Stephanie:

On what's coming up with her: "I'm a serial dater. I don't have a boyfriend - I want to date every single guy ever. But, I will play the bad cop, there's so much BS between the girls, I will call them out."
On Stacy's comments about Justin Bobby: "She needs a publicist to tell her not to talk about the show! Yeah, it gets nuts."

Stacie:

On if we'll see lots more of her this season: "Yeah, it's weird. Like on the last season, I didn't even mean to be on it - it was unintentional. Now I'm in the group!"

Frankie Delgado also chatted with us about the ongoing issue between Brody Jenner, his girlfriend Jayde Nicole and Joe Francis, saying that her face is all better after the alleged assault a few weeks ago. That won't be a part of the season, but we're sure to see lots more of them all when The Hills is back in just fifteen days!

Kristin Cavallari Is Already Stirring Up Drama on The Hills

There was talk of Kristin Cavallari joining The Hills when she conveniently caught the bouquet at Heidi and Spencer's wedding a few weeks ago. Now she has confirmed the news, and is wasting no time talking about how she'll be an asset to the show - while making a few catty comments about Lauren along the way. Here's more:

On why she's joining: "It’s a TV show. I’m not going into it like, 'I’m going to make great friendships with these people.' It’s work! And drama sells. I think that’s why they’re bringing me in, because I know what works."
On introducing Heidi and Spencer: "It’s so funny. I guess it was 4 years ago. I was dating Brody and Spencer was Brody’s best friend. I had known Heidi when she was friends with Lauren when we were still filming Laguna Beach. Heidi was like, ‘Hook me up with someone. I wanna meet a guy.’ And Brody and I were kinda like, ‘Well, maybe Spencer?’ We’ll see what happens.’ So we all went on a double date and they just hit it off right away and now they’re married."
On how she's different from LC: "I’m a completely different person than Lauren. I have a lot more energy. I’m more outgoing. I’m a little more spontaneous. And she has a boyfriend so she’s not dating on the show. I’m very open to dating and finding a guy."

You guys were split about whether you'd like to see her on the reality show, but Heidi already thinks Kristin will make the show ten times better. We'll see how it all plays out as the cast begins to say goodbye to Lauren and welcome the Laguna Beach alum to her new reality show home.
